Pete
I know we have had these sort of things flying around on here but I have heard from very reliable source that Ricko has pulled out due to dizziness and what have you following on from his crash in Sweden recently. He will be replaced by Peter Ljung! Pete
SammyR
He looked alright on Tuesday night, laughing and joking. I hope you're joking.
Gemini
I hope you're not joking because you should know by now that threads like these go down like a lead balloon and they're not funny. :-(
Guest thegreat
rickardsson must be worth 14/15 points which means GB and the Czech must be great value at 6/4 with bet365 and 16/1 with stan james
crazysue
I assure you he is not joking, just checked out the official website and it is true.
Gemini
Okay thanks. That's bad news for Sweden, but also for Poole on Monday at Brandon. Perhaps gives the Bees a bit of a chance to win now.
Lanzilla
Shame that Tony has had to pull out, although it helps Team GB in their quest to qualify for the Finals. Hopefully Tony will be back to full fitness soon. Would rather have seen Lindback in as a replacement.
SammyR
My God, it IS true. That throws tonight's meeting wide open. The other teams must feel their chances of qualifying have soared. Sam.
Lee Richard
Well that is a shame, he is the real class act of the World Cup ..... I know that this may well benefit GB and the Czechs and the Bees on Monday ...... but it would be sad if Sweden do not make it to the final, although I think with AJ, Max and Karlsson they have enough class to make it. At the moment speedway really needs the top teams in the Final.
21st century heathen
Sorry for Tony, and I hope he's back fit soon :-( What a boost for the Brits though. Go get em lads
Guest BritPeter
Very unlucky for Sweden, but UK now have to take full advantage, and win tonight!!!
rabbit
The Team GB part of me thinks more chance for us to get through - the Poole fan part is going 'aarrrgghhhh!!'! Come on Middlo and Co...give 'em hell! Should be agreat one to watch whatever!
Pete
I hope you're not joking because you should know by now that threads like these go down like a lead balloon and they're not funny. :-( Gemini I may be a lot of things but I don't find it funny to lie about riders being injured etc :? This came from a reliable source that I know would not say it unless it was true and it turned out to be 100% accurate. Pete
Guest thegreat
great info!!! Hope you profited from it from the bookies!!!! Well Done GB
Guest BritPeter
This was one of THE great GB performances, so far ahead did they finish that it cannot be argued that we would have lost even If Rickardsson had been there! Roll on saturday, win or lose It's going to be a great meeting.
Jenn
Just to say.........i know its cynical and i'll get shot down in flames for it.......but i think Rickardsson is exagerating! He ruled out riding on saturday far too quickly! If it was for the reasons he claims then i think he would wait and see how he was on saturday before ruling himself out I think hes a bit bothered about 5 man races(not long til the next GP......)! i apologise if im wrong..................but like has already been said, we all saw he was fine on tuesday!
Addy
Why did my gut feeling tell me that GB may regret not allowing Topinka win the joker ... A speedy recovery is not impossible ....
Guest BritPeter
It certainly seems odd to blame an injury from about two weeks ago when he has already had a meeting and was more or less at his best. Mark Loram did not want to ride in five man races, and as Rickardsson is chasing a record equalling six world titles, maybe he though the risk was not worth taking. Guest emperor
What school did BritPeter go to? The Shakespearean School for complete pillocks!!!!!!!! If you are gonna sacrifice the english language to sound clever at least make a clever comment. Sure GB did well but the truth is we are not in the same class as the aussies. We have a chance of finishing second.Cheers to thegreat for posting a bit of intelligence.Anyone who listens to that other plummy idiot BritPeter you need help.
