end off the day... im not saying what hes done his right, but if we take the 'oh please... overtake me' approach, how much money will you make in the sport... none! getting to the final and possibaly getting to the GP's opens up doors for sponsorship and more money which all the riders are in for! Im sure if you out David in the last heat, needing a win and he sees a gap which could be a bit risky and could take another rider out, he would go for it!

Who said anything about wanting that?!

Less injuries would be nice, but no one, as far as I know, has mentioned that (ie start to finish winner).

And I honestly don't think that any rider would jump into a gap that wasn't there and risk injuring another rider... well, at least not a good sportsman anyway.

Hmmmnnn, your second lover aka Nicki Pederstool? Our captains Hans, both done it, and got some good receptions for it?

I'm not a Dryml fan, I'm a Peterborough fan and he wasn't racing for Peterborough tonight so he doesn't have my support. At the end of the day, if any rider had done what he has allegedly done I would be saying the same thing.

Erm, not quite!

And neither of them are exactly the most sportsman-ly all the time, are they??

Just a few comments regarding the incidents in Lonigo: the "attack" thing was indeed a bad translation from my side. I didnt' mean that Carpanese literally attacked Lukas, what I meant was that he wanted to pass him (in such cases in Slovenian language we use a word that directly translates to attack).

And about Dryml exclusions: I just wrote what my colleague who was in Lonigo described to me on the phone. Lukas just wanted too much and tried to pass the oponents in situations where there simply wasn't enough space for the pass. I didn't mean that it was a deliberate move, I just explained that Lukas was the cause of the crashes.

Although, as I David said after the meeting, Lukas told him that heat 5 crash was actually David's fault  .

He did it more than once, and caused an injury to at least one of the riders... doesn't matter who he'd done it to, he shouldn't have done it in the first place, or at least should've learnt after the first time. We've had enough injuries this season, thank you very much!

Were you there? Did you see what happened? Thought not.

And from a couple of thousand miles your view was no doubt perfect !!!

Talk to Lukas at the next Peterborough home match, I have no doubt he will be more than happy to give you his account.

This is the World Championship, its for real and is important.

No doubt you watch Lukas week after week and if you do you will know how well he is riding for Peterborough and riding with the old Lukas Dryml fire in the belly.

We don't know the full story other than comments on the updates so don't be too quick to jump to conclusions. And Lukas, more than any other rider will be aware of the consequences of what can happen on track after his own (Slovenia anyone?) and his brothers brushes with the downside of the sport.

I'm sure 'taking another rider out' if as accused was not done with the intent of injury.

Well said Rabbit

And that makes it alright??

Of course he didn't mean to hurt David, or Carpanese (if he's hurt... I think he was taken to hospital?), but you'd have thought after knocking the first rider off he would have thought twice about making a certain move and knocking a further two riders off.

Yes, injuries do unfortunately come as part and parcel of this sport (it's the bit I hate most about it), so the riders should be doing everything possible to prevent them.

And as for hard racing... when's the last time Lukas raced hard?! And, I'm not being funny, but have you seen the races in which he knocked riders off?

Again from a few thousand miles you have clearly had a great view !!

Maybe you should not be so quick to condemn

Well done Kyle Legogo...... What do you think know. Sheffield (went with Ashworth and Wilson), Kings lynn (not a premier league heat leader they said!) Birmingham (Drury couldn't count and would not take him on 7 points!) All gave him a miss.

Ask the Mildenhall faithful if they think he is worth watching week in week out!

Oh, Canada! ...... Well done lad, your the best!

Very well done to all those who qualified tonight for the Final in September. Many Congrats to Bjarne on winning the meeting and to KK. Brilliant by Kyle and Tobias...both surprise qualifiers.

What happened to Hampel????

You're doing very well between you, the rest of us are sitting back quietly watching the action.

Btw: Didn't Tobi do well!!  :D

We aim to please our public LW!

And yes Tobi was great tonight, I kept Mr L updated on how his lodger was doing too!

It was nice to see the likes of Kyle and Tobi qualify, try to get some new young blood in to the GP's, although the final will be a tough ask I am sure they can raise their game again!

Just hope that Tobi brings that form back home with him for you!

No, I wasn't there, never claimed I was... I'm just going off the up-dates, as most people on here who are claiming Dryml is innocent are. How can the guy be excluded twice and have done nothing wrong?! And now David is going to miss the world cup because of it - not a very nice state of affairs.

Sarcasm - how very clever of you.

I'm well aware this is the world championship qualifiers and I know how badly all of the riders want it... but it's no excuse. If, as has been said, the gaps are miniscule, then riders simply shouldn't go for them and put their fellow riders at risk; it's stupid, IMO.

Yes, I have seen Lukas riding recently and he is hitting form, at last, but none of what has been said is any excuse. He must have been doing something wrong to be excluded TWICE!

I just have this feeling that is Hans or Nicki had been involved then some peoples' reactions would be very different.

Yes, should give him a boost, even though his form has already been pretty good. :approve:

Yep, would have been a 20 page thread dedicated to it by now!
