I people hadn't have wanted him out at Coventry I doubt Bomber would be where he is today. During that period he really struggled and made a lot of changes in machinery and lifestyle, without these Bomber wouldn''t even have been in the G.P's let alone winning them.

Agree and disagree, he did have to step up with his set up , but on the same hand his potential was there for all to see and had to be stuck with and credit to the Coventry promotion they did.

I must admit thinking back to him riding around the clay pit in the days of the Gulls.

I never thought he would be doing so well however I did not think he would disgrace himself, I did think that the bees stood to gain though, although each time he rides now the pressure is going to be on him.

I think he's got himself a pit crew second to none with Norrie Allen & Brian Andersen & this has helped him in the GP's. If you have the speed in your equipment then its down to the skill and commitment and Chris has plenty of that.
