Rob B
We were on the bottom tier and the sound was very good but we have speakers on the floor right in front of us and extra speakers just above our heads under the middle teir if you are on the middle and top teirs you are having to rely on just the big speakers on the roof of the stadium and can imagine the sound being poor. The entertainment wasn't my cup of tea but though it was no way the worst they have had at Cardiff over the year. One thing I was dissappointed in though was the parade, it was crap, riders coming out one by one with no introduction over the PA. The best parade by far was last year with the jeeps and A team theme. Edited July 1, 2007 by Rob B
a61
Why are people dissing Brenda?! I thought she was good!
London Witch
The sound was extremely poor in the top tier, but I wasn't too fussed. McDonald brothers were the best, Ray not too bad, Brenda was cack! Missed Chas and Dave completely, too busy talking. Agree that the parade was poor but better than that year they came out in a limo! The riders should have been announced as they rode round.

BelteshazzarBee
Some people are being a bit harsh about Ray, cocky, i call that great stage presence, M brothers were ok but its hard for anyone to do well at cardiff because the sound systems crap you cant hear what anyone saying even Coombesy. Oh and because the crowd is so far awy u can't really interact with them. I missed the Juniors racing, what was it like? Nevs
Oh and because the crowd is so far awy u can't really interact with them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I reckon they should get some big tall walking ants on stilts in or something similar next year The We love speedway bit was ok for the kids, trouble is you have people from 3-90 and over going--They are never gonna be able to please all the people all of the time. Have to say as I first feared Chas N Dave really did not work in any way whatsoever in a stadium that size. They are headlining at The Exmouth pavilion on 13th August-should suit them better but making a note in me diary not to have a 30 min jolly to Exmouth seaside that day. For anyone down in this area on hols on that date that liked them tickets are £16.50 and available to book online Edited July 1, 2007 by Nevs
SW17 Bulldog
Was okay. Still think they could spend a bit more time on the U15's; names on the score board, etc. All seemed a bit rushed. Liked the back to basics of riders coming out on bikes, but thought it could have been hyped a bit more. Last year gave me goose bumps. Bobbin' Along
Ray Quinn 6/10 a bit full of himself Brenda 4/10 oh dear! KFC brothers 7/10 ok I suppose <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Terribly generous of you. I would have given Brenda 6/10 but only because Mr Bobbin's mouth kept dropping open. The lady has rather a large set of lungs..... Ray Quinn - since when did Eddie Munster start singing? How up his own bum was he? And crap with it IMHO Zilch from me. The Macdonald brothers - what can I can. At least they tried. Still, they should be able to get a franchise in their own restaurant chain. A poor 3/10. And don't get me started on Chas and Dave... Appalling. Old Saint
I said in an earlier post that I had never heard of the three pre meeting acts and now, having seen them, I wish it had stayed that way! What a terrible way to lose 45 minutes of your life. Glad I did not waste even more of my life watching the TV programme.
