Lake Bodom Comet
We are planning to fly back from Schipol Amsterdam the day after the GP and have booked into the Marriott hotel at the stadium. Don't think there are any late night trains to Schipol on Saturday night

Christy
Thinking of going to the German GP just wondered if any one else is going and how they are getting there. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hi I'm a new poster, so Hello Everyone - Thought I'd reply just to say 'YES I'M GOING TO THE GERMAN GP!!' Well, me and my little family actually - hubby and our two kids. Our third time at Cardiff has inspired us to dip our toes in the wider GP pond. Hope its a good night and that everyone enjoys themselves....
Vic Ridgeon
Hi Christy! I'm new too and, likewise, I'm off to the GP in Germany with friends and family! Hope you have fun! I've read the thread and would just say that having looked at the 'traditional' budget airlines websites I can't believe that the airport in Weeze is being described as Dusseldorf! As someone has said, it's about 80km away! It's nearly in Holland! We're flying Air Berlin to Dusseldorf which is £50 return including taxes. Just need somewhere to stay now if any one has any ideas? Also, not sure if I'm raising this in the wrong place so apologies if I am but, any idea who the wild card might be? Presumably German - Smolinski? Kessler Muller
jeffers185
Hopefully a bunch of us hiring a minibus and making our way over (hoping Bomber will still be in the thick of it all) Jeff Belfast

Vic Ridgeon
Forgot about Hefenbrock! And he's only been gone half a season (from Wolves)

It's an option to get to Gelsenkirchen but to the Airport no idea.

Iffoid
There is hopefully going to be a coach going from Swindon - so I am hoping to be on that!
Badge
I'd stick my neck out and say either Martin Smolinski or Christian Hefenbrock will be the wild card. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't forget Tobi Kroner Edit: Even more reason not to forget Tobi now, he's got through from Lonigo tonight, beating the likes of Jarek, Max, Holder. Robyn1972
Yer - and the kids are going along too I heard!!!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, but it's fine. If she plays up on the way over then she's in the luggage locker under the coach on the way back!! (this applies to Badge as well!!)

jawakid
My first post Well I'm going! Whilst on holiday in Europe. Great timing too since it's the last meeting of the series and hoping to meet some people while I'm there. So if there are any gatherings before the meeting please be nice and help out "another" Aussie, "like minded" tourist.
