The Future Of Speedway Coming Up!

From Worldspeedway:

 

Due to a late request from the Russian Federation (MFR) and the Polish Federation (PZM), Russia will have two riders in this Gold Trophy and Poland one more, total of 8 riders.

 

In order to accomodate them into the Qualifying Rounds, 3 more riders were directly seeded into the SF 1 and 2. They were chosen according to their results of last year Gold Trophy 80cc Final.

 

The new Ballots for the 3 QR as well as the names of the seeded riders in the Semi-finals are below.

Dave you have missed out a qualifier that Todd Kurtz is in,plus the fact that Sam Masters is one of the riders seeded directly into the semis :D

Thanks Iris. Thought we had six going round - that was all that was on Worldspeedway yesterday. Where's the other Qualifier(s)?

Aha! Thanks Iris again., I've nailed that site on to me 'puter! Geez there'll be a proud bunch of Aussie dads over there as well - best to watch out for 'em!

 

As fer you Tarabanko, not only is Poland a long way from Sweden, its a ******* long way from Darwin!!

 

Hope there's not too many Dummy-spits!!

Didn't Ed Kennett enter in 2003? :unsure: Is he the only one?Do wonder why,when the young Aussie kids can make it and with some success,that a couple of young Brits don't enter.I mean even the french enter :blink:

Well done to the two Qld riders Clinton and Darcy. You may not have made it through to the semi finals but you should be proud of your achievements.You have done Qld proud.  Best of luck to the other Aussie riders. :)  :)

Couldn't agree more, Denno. Its an achievement just to get there.

 

Well done to Taylor & Alex, and fingers crossed for young (14-y-o) Todd tonight.
