shazzybird
Well when we found our seats they were bad. Middle of the 3rd/4th bend, upper tier, 10 rows back. Too far from the track. So we waited for the meeting to start, saw where there were some good emptey seats and moved. Ended up on the front row of the second tier, in comfortable padded seats, directly opposite the starting gate! Very nice and probably very expensive! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes Steve they are, was just above you on the third tier But we walked from 4th all the way around the top of the stadium though to 2nd bend. Great night <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep we picked you out and watched you go right the way round, why did you keep walking higher at one point you were about 3 rows from the top Not only did I have the pleasure of seeing with the in-laws but I sat behind the smelliest man in the whole wide world. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> BA ... We were thinking the same and blaming each other, at one point I had an armpit thrown into my face and asked "is it me?" , then on the way home today I was telling someone about it and they said they had exactly the same where they were, so am wondering if it was something in the stadium, was a general sense of opinion that most smelt this

I know that enclosed spaces make it worse - and having the roof on just compressed it - but it was revolting! At least none of my companions had halitosis - that would have been one smell to far... TBH - I thought first of all it was just a general miasma - lots of bodies etc. But then it became very obvious that it got worse when he stood up and then sat back again. The original stench was one of socks - teenage boys socks. You know, when the darn things try escaping from the room, desperate to get washed after 22 days solid wear? Then came the guffs.
