Main Man
As the final qualifier is not until next Friday when will the semi-final draw be done as the meetings are the following weekend in Italy and Slovenia ? Doesn't leave much time for planning where a rider is going and making the necessary arrangements !!!
Mick Dundee
How many places are there in the gp's next year from these meetings??
Ghostwalker
How many places are there in the gp's next year from these meetings?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> not many. I think it is 3 places. Top 8 in SGP is direct Qualified, another 4 gets season WC and the final 3 riders is qualified via gp qualifications. Tried to find out off Armando and he thought in next few days. Pretty rushed though as ferries have to be booked. hotels and then they will leave midweek to drive to either venue. Just wonder what will happen if the Swedish meeting was rained off on Friday ??? Seems a bit rushed really --pity there wasn't a few weeks to get things organised. Just hope Kyle gets Lonigo as that will be easier to get organised --already have his hotel sorted if he gets that one!! Just a pity I won't be able to join him as have a home meeting on the Sat (7th) and away on the Sunday at Newport!!

But its a good question, at the moment its expected to be cloudy with showers atleast the rest of the week. with improving weather at the beginning of the next week. You can keep an eye on the weather at this website: http://www.smhi.se/cmp/jsp/polopoly.jsp?d=103&l=en Edited June 25, 2007 by Ghostwalker

salty
With 7 through from each of the qualifiers I'm assuming there are riders who are seeded through direct to the semi's. Anybody know who they are? Not looking very promising for the Brits so far with the Swedish meeting looking tough it may be only Richard Hall getting through. With Nicholls not pulling up any trees in the GP's and surely not going to be given another seeded spot who is going to be the 2nd Brit in the 2008 series??? smiles
Did not know whether to start a new thread for this but who are peoples favourite for the top 3 in the final. I know its at a early stage and anything could happen but these are who i think in no order Freddie Lindgren Next best swede Kris Kasprzak Next best Pole Rory Schlein Next best Aussie The other person i see trubling them is Jarek Hampel but once he gets going in the GP's he might get in the top 8 anyway

Joester
I'm not 100% certain but I think Bjarne Pedersen and Mattia Carpanese are in Lonigo and Jernej Kolenko and Greg Walasek are in Ljubljana, I'm probably wrong.

If they however dont manage to qualify i wouldnt be surprised if they got a WC instead. Especially KK and Schlein.
iris123
I would put Bjarne + Puk in the qualifying spots with anyone of about 5 riders getting the last place
