Lindback

Recommended Posts

Thats what I was thinking. Winning his first heat, after how many points in the other GPs? Barely anything, if I recall.

Moving to Belle Vue must have done wonders for him, to bring on such a change.

Lindback was bang out of order in that semi final, made no effort to clear the track unlike Hancock earlier.

to be fair he was well under the air fence and bearing in mind it was a small track he wouldn't have time to get out, pick his bike up and get on the center green before the ref would have put the lights on to give the riders chance to slow down

He was soon up when the race had been stopped with no assistance from anyone else.

Just make an effort to get off quick, so the race can go on, would be nice.

Probably still peeeved at last years under 21 final. :D

to be fair though a lap of a track lasts about 15 seconds, and if he fell on bed 4 the ref will put the lights on by the time the riders reach the second bend if the rider is not clear of the track so that gives about 7 seconds to get out,get up,get your bike up and get clear of the track-even if he attempts it it aint gonna happen

i'm a huge hans fan and this crash cost hans big time and i'm still defending lindback

Yes but he just slid off feet first , gentle slide into the fence, not end over end legs and arms everywhere kind of crash. I am not a great Andersen fan, but he was robbed of a place in the final by that.

If you can, look at the incident again. Lindback and his bike were some distance from each other - he would have had to extracate himself from under the fence, then look for where his bike had ended up and then attempt to retrieve it.

The race was always going to be stopped in my opinion given the above.

it's nice to see toninho riding well as we all know him to, i thought the gp was missing him but now he is back there will be greater competition for semi-final and final spots! making better racing for all
