garf
Actually I think NP did the "dirty trick" in heat 15 as he almost put KB up into the fence once again. That was not fair riding at all.

iris123
Nicki didn't look 100% fit.Certainly wasn't as dominant as last year. But he certainly saved the best till last.Hans was away and looked to have it sown up,but Nicki somehow finds this amazing speed.Just like last years A-Final he comes from way back.Must say NKI looked very good as well. The best performance i have seen him put in.Kenneth was really battling hard again. And some of the youngsters looked good.Who says Henrik can't gate? Patrick Hougaard,Nicolai and Leon Madsen put in a few good heats as well. Think that also means Bjarne,Puk,Kenneth and Jesper,Charlie + Henrik are the Danish nominees for the GP qualis Photos Edited June 2, 2007 by iris123

garf
To be fair Garf...if a rider gets inside KB, he only has to sneeze and Bjerre is blown out towards the fence ! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hehehe! Yeah Steve, you may have a point here. But seriously NP has lost much weight, so he is not much bigger than KB. I just felt NP was doing his trick again as I watched it on the telly. Byt then again. I'm biased regarding KB.
shady
Agree wiht you Iris...I thought Nivki looked pale, ill and very uncomfortable at times, but as you say, he always manages to find that "little bit extra" when he needs to....but I suppose thats a talent one must possess if one wishes to be world champion!! iris123
Yes,i seriously thought at one stage he wouldn't make the A Final. But once he is there anything can happen. Was a good meeting. Not that many passes, but lots of very close races. How did it look on the telly, garf? And any updates on the person taken to hospital? garf
Hya Doug! I thnk there were quite a few very good battles during the night. And I'm looking forward to the next one. As usual you always gets "better pictures" on the telly + you can see certain things in Slow-Mo, but you will then miss the feeling of the crowd, the smell of Methanol and the roaring from the engines. I guess it is al to a matter of prioritirizing. Edited June 3, 2007 by garf
toonarmy084
was great to watch the final!!!! a great advert for speedway in Denmark then watching nikki punch the air after winning the A final then holding his arm in pain was a bit funny.... You can imagine him thinking ooops shouldnt have done that!!!! Edited June 4, 2007 by toonarmy084
