SCB
All those who say you don't get good racing at Rye House, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Yesterdays meeting was great and a fitting tribute to one of the sports greatest entertainers over the last few years, there were too many good races to go into detail here but Bomber (when the boring sod didn't gate ), Adam Roynon, Billy J, Steve Johnston, Jason Bunyan* and many other all pulled off some great moves throughout the night. *Just realised I have named Coventry riders past, present and (hopefully) future there What a first ride from Karlis Ezergailis! Young Robert Mear had a stormer in his first too, very impressive! Edited September 30, 2007 by SCB

SCB
Those wanting to order by post details on website below. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I can't find anything other than a load of poorly placed pictures! Thats a terrible website, glance at it and you'd swear it was some 12 year old kids school project (that they got a poor mark for). Can I suggest dropping most of the picture on the front page? Just stick with one, very simple action picture. And yellow writing over a picture? Please, no!! Seriously, if you want some advice, PM me, I'm happy to help but I'd say keep it simple, it doesn't need all them photos on each page. Chris
Excellent meeting. Plenty of passing all night. Thats what happens when you don't get PL wobblers struggling to use the throttle and show any sort of track craft. Fair play to the Cov boys for putting on that sort of show before a big meeting. Shame Nicholls couldn't be arsed. Individuals not my cup of tea, but you couldn't fail to get involved with the racing witnessed. The best thing about the evening though was the smile on Robbos face which never disappeared all night. He looked chuffed with the turn out and the display put on by the riders. Would be brilliant if he could get back on a bike in future years.
colincooke
Shame Nicholls couldn't be arsed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you read post 60 from In The Know you'll understand why Scott wasn't there. All rider entries we're stressed subject to availability weren't they so i don't suppose Robbo himself was to bothered.Brilliant day anyway,Paradise Park & Speedway Museum:Verdict FANTASTIC
Sandie
You made your point HERE Nicholls and Hancock obviously couldn't be arsed. Nice. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And then again HERE Think its poor from Nicholls personally. Would expect it off Hancock seeing as he would have to put himself out. His other team members haven't a problem with putting themselves out for Robbo, but why not Scott? Does he feel the meeting is below him? Chris Harris is in exactly same situation as Nicholls. EL final 2nd leg on Monday and important GP to come, but he has put himself out for Robbo and the fans, which is why someone like Harris is very popular on the terraces. Comes across as a good bloke with no ego whatsoever. Nicholls on the other hand..... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You were given a reason HERE nicholls is actually riding in poland on sunday in the play offs and has to fly there sat for a team practice day.hope this clears a few things up. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But you still feel the need to argue your case HERE. Shame Nicholls couldn't be arsed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Chris
Erm he told Robbo he didn't want to ride because "he had been riding all that week". Nothing about this BS team practice a day before a 3rd/4th place play off in Poland on the Sunday. As mentioned before it shows you who the good guys are, who with the same sort of schedule are prepared to put themselves out for Robbo.
