Swedish Gp Week- No Hancock!

The start of the elite going into meltdown as the gp series grows. Im one of those that prefers the old one off final, stuck in the past maybe but there was no threat to the bread and butter league racing at the top level. The expansion of the gp is going to prove costly to the sport domestically in general.

I have to say I love the GP series. Think without it Speedway would be in serious trouble, as it has given it some much needed exposure. However I believe it should have stayed at 10 rounds max. The last 2 years we've had the world title already won with a round or 2 to go & that is not ideal.

If anything IMG should go back to what BSI were trying to do a few years ago & try & get every GP round into top class stadiums. Maybe only have a 1 round in Sweden/Poland & sacrafice places like Latvia if you want GP's in USA, Far East, Oz...

The start? Gregs being doing this for years. Just because Gregs unrliable (as was Ryan Sullivan in his GP days) dosn't mean all rider are.

Whats the Drymls excuses? They have taken the piss for years! What about the Poles?

If you were a King's Lynn fan in the late 70's early 80's you would not agree with this statement. Being a Saturday night track, top line riders were quite often missing at Saddlebow road. If it wasn't a world championship qualifying round, World Team Cup round, Longtrack Championship round, lucrative Continental grasstrack, lucrative Continental Longtrack depriving the King's Lynn crowd, it was a very unusual Saturday. It was pretty much the same as today in that there were riders who would turn up regardless, and those who you knew would not
