madasafish
Does anyone know how Hans Andersen got through when he had 6 points and so did two others? I have looked at my programme and even when I work it back, looking at when each rider met, it still looks like someone was looking at the sun, blinking fast and making a calculation that worked in the favour of Ole's mate So .... how was the calculation done that showed that Hans qualified? He said himself on the tv that he had put his bikes away twice because he thought he was out. Confused Or did they just toss a coin? Or draw straws? Or did they do "Spuds"? One potato two potatoes three potatoes four, five potatoes six potatoes seven potatoes more .... out

Pollyanna
Thank you ... have just read it and its still a bit like knitting fog I think they secretly played "Spuds" behind the Polish Sausage van and Hans won <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Speedway Star 's explanaton was that Andersen was one of six riders who finished on six points. Four riders had one win apiece, although with Holta and Hampel both failing to finish in one of their five rides, it came down to a straight choice between Andersen and Ulamek. Andersen got the nod for defeating Ulamek in Heat 8. So that is how the countback system works ! Edited May 22, 2007 by Pollyanna
