Also well done to Noddy Holder, Poole in waiting! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Noddy will be with ya Stevie boy when he's good 'n ready and wants to be - and not before! Was still feeling very battered and bruised in the pits at King's Lynn on Wednesday. We drummed into him that it was all about qualifiying at Vojens but Noddy, being Noddy..... bazaar3
Well done Eddy and Lewis on going through to the final. Also well done to Holder for winning. A shame for Cuppasoup and Klindt pulling out of the meeting.
Anders
i would like to say well done Simon Gustafsson. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'll echo that, surprising to me but nevertheless - well done Simon!
iris123
Very good meeting apart from the accident with Nicolai. Not sure exactly what happened.Gomolski spun round and his bike went up.I was down the other end,nt sure if the bike hit Nicolai, but he straightened up to try and avoid Gomolski and went straight into the fence.Hope everything is ok.Very good meeting for Ed,Chris Holder and the surprise for me,Lewis. He should have at least been in a run-off for third with Morten, but cocked up his last heat while (i think)second.Great race between Kennett and Hansen.Kennett out of the gate but Hansen shot past him on turn 4.Ed came back and was pressuring Kenneth all the way and i think that caused Kenneth to lose control and slide off.Great start from Kevin Wölbert to beat Pavlic,Risager and Gustafsson.Pavlic was right behind and trying to pass, but overdone it and fell. Was also impressed with Simon Gustafsson.Looks like Sweden do have one or two youngsters for the future. Also great to meet Barney and Dave Kennett. Was walking round and heard a few loud english accents and went over.It was Barney and the rest of the Kennett fans with a banner.Barney was saying he wasn't sure the meeting would be on as it was pouring down all morning and into the afternoon. The bad weather probably kept the crowd down.It looked poor.About the same sort of crowd as a German 2nd Division meeting.I would guess 400! shady
Nikolai took a big knock to his head which resulted in concussion. he was keen to continue but the doc said no! He is fine though but made a sharp exit from the pits! Poured down all morning and then peetered out to drizzle for most of the afternoon, then developed into a warm and reasonably sunny evening...didnt get to use my new umbrella!! Re the crowd size...i have never experienced a big crowd in Denmark....and they are SOOOO quiet...i bought an airhorn and was subjected to "tuts" all around me every time I used it...despite the fact i used it for both the UK and DK riders!! all in all a very good meeting with some good racing! iris123
Well there have been a few crowds of 1 or i think 2 thousand this year for the DSL.Plus last years Danish Final at Holsted was fantastic.6,000.But it seems you need Nicki for a really good crowd.Next months SWC should be different. But then the price is almost double

rhidassa
Noddy first, Eddie second..Brilliant, really pleased for both of them. Especially Noddy after his little tumble on Tuesday, and not being able to ride Wednesday (not that he needed to, with all the rain anyway). I confess I was keeping an eye on the updates on my phone.
