We may need a texter for this meeting (normal texter cannot confirm until tomorrow) so is there anyone going to the meeting who would be able to send texts to the updates site? If so, can you please either leave a message here or send me an email or pm.

Thanks

Ryan Fisher must be thinking what on earth he has to do to get a bit of good luck.

The guy rode brilliantly today I thought, but nothing worked for him

He lost 3 points when his chain went in the lead, which I still think he should have been awarded the win because I thought the rules changed in the winter to the race being awarded at the time or the crash/stoppage at which point Ryan was still under power. Got out of shape on the last bend to drop a point to an Elite League heat leader and then had his fall when he really was giving a go even though he already had guaranteed points in the bag.

Good meeting, some awesome, and scary, moments from holder who was a worthy winner.

15.9.4 If for any reason the Referee has stopped a race after the leading Competitor has started the final lap the Referee may use his discretion on a re-run. If the race is not re-run, the Competitors shall be deemed to have finished in the positions held when the race was caused to be stopped, with the excluded Competitor being awarded no points and any Competitors behind in finishing order being advanced one place.
So, That would be SCB and Silver Bee 1 and Tsunami 0 :P:D The rule has changed so Ryan was cheated of 5 points, 3 for having an EF while leading after someone fell and 2 for falling after someone else fell.

Not a bad meeting, considering the weather forcast.

Great to meet Tsunami again, always a pleasure, as it was to meeting Paulco (for the 3rd time in 3 days :D ). Tsunami, Paulco, SCB, Silver Bee and Pinny on one bend it's a suprise a fight didn't break out at some point :D I'm sure Buzzy Bee would have sorted us out if it had.

what happened with compton? withdrew?

Andre had a couple of falls taken out by Mroz 1st time then might have got a little nudge from David Howe next time out and went straight into the fence. He has got suspected ligament damage so who knows whether Andre will ride on Wednesday. Ricky also took a few heavy falls and might be carrying knocks but you can bet he has already get excuses lined up for some expected shockers coming up at Lynn and Drye House.

Chris Holder was truly amazing, the ride where he flew around the outside of the other 3 riders then lost the bike in the corner and was holding on with just his right hand and went to 3rd and then by the next bend he was back in front having gone around the outside of them again...amazing..the guy is gonna be good boys and girls!!

Paulco fight?? Nah no way

I'm beginning to think we should send Paulco as our ambassador to the Middle east - give him an hour he'd have them all having a pint, a laugh and a joke at the bar :lol:

(and Monarchs bashing! )
