You don't become a bad rider overnight. Sooner he gets back to the EL the better.

 

Might not be as simple as that Steve, a rider years ao gave up because he was just not getting the adrenelin rush he was getting when he started out he said when the rush has gone there is not point in carrying on. So he gave up turned his back on speedway for some 20 odd years and eventually went to a meeting in Cardiff for a GP never made him want to get back on a bike but now likes the sport as a spectator.

 

Not saying this is whats happened with Rio but we all get fed up with our jobs from time to time.
