jrs
I had my doubts when Chris was first selected for the GP series, thinking it maybe was a year too soon. I thought that his debut at Lonigo was impressive, and I would think that his target for this season would have been tenth place, with occasional semi-final appearances. Last night was a massive step up the ladder. I hope in my heart that he can follow in Mark Loram's footsteps and always be in the thick of it in the future. Some tracks won't suit him thats for sure, but if he can now achieve a top eight place in the series at the end of the year, then we should all be proud of him. One thing for certain is that he will now have earned even more respect from the established GP riders, and I should think that without doubt every rider in the series is thankful that Chris does not have the gating ability of a Pedersen ! Congratulations Chris - better than any of us could have dreamed of.

Squirelnutkins
Bomber... WOW... He was absolutely brilliant last night! He was going all out for it! He did the Brits proud! Well Done!
wjm
Bomber got every thing he deserved tonight, been a fanatic for about 8 years now, hes the first real Brit product I have been able to watch go from a CL rider to on the podium of the GP , and it was pretty cool to watch him do so , a cracking fella who got every thing he deserved. Have to say one thing though that might kill the moment, I wouldn't be getting to excited for him in Cardiff just yet, I think if he has top8 chances, he will have to accumulate as much as he can on " real " speedway tracks, as I do think Parken and Cardiff will cause him trouble. D.I.G.
Well done Bomber. Some great racing from you tonight and you did us English proud. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "Bomber" reminds me of another Chris, Chris Morton with his inability to gate, and the sweeps around the outside of other riders.I think he will have the same problems as Morty did, up against a top class field of "Gaters" on tracks that do not lend themselves to wide sweeps, but for sheer excitement give me a non gating tart any day. Well done Bomber, even though you ride for Coventry.

Brummie Boy
Fantastic performance by Bomber. Over the last few GPs I have been lamenting the demise of Tomasz Gollob, thinking that we wouldn't be seeing any of his unbelevable trade mark overtaking moves and thinking the GPs would be the worse for it. However, seems Bomber is now going to be the man to go where no other rider dares to go. Some of his moves last night were absolutely breathtaking. I reckon if the crowd get behind Bomber at Cardiff we could be in for a rostrum place from him Only the 2nd GP early days to be calling shots although I dont think he'll be World Champion I reckon he'll put a few spokes in others wheels én routé to the title
thehammer
He did deserve the praise last time. It was a very respectable debut. Now tonight is another stepping stone. He is surely the most exciting British racer in the league. The sad thing though is we know that Cardiff won't suit his style. Mind you, if he keeps up tonight's performance in might be a bumper gate in Wales and perhaps Olsen then might think about the preparation of the track to suit a real racer. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How about we all take a bit of dirt for him at Cardiff , put it round the outside of the track and he'll be fine! After all he normally only needs to go to the fence
bunch of klecha's
I didn't expect anything from him but they way some were carrying on last GP you would have thought he had won it! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> steve what you have to recognise is everybody else but you it seems ......LOVE A TRIER!! his performance in the 1st gee pee was commendable for the effort he'd put in and the never say die attitude that he always seems to show! he's exciting young& he's BRITISH but because he doesn't ride for poole you seem troubled to acknowledge his contribution to the gp series. wake up & smell the coffee!! well done bomber and keep it up!! double_0
Ah well, at least a Pole won't finish last this coming season. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> this may be the first year a brit finishes last <{POST_SNAPBACK}> and we marvel that hes scraped together 21 points over the series <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And we have one of these now grovelling to the forum that he was wrong - almost "begging"like. Oh how the "self deluded" have fallen from the walls of his beloved "New Jerusalem". Oh Mrs Biggins tee hee. Idiot!!!!! Well done Bomber. A great performance
