In his first GP Chris Harris didn't impress me and I said so. Failed to make the semi and whilst some on here were raving and going overboard, I thought he had a quiet start to the series.

Tonght Harris is well worthy of praise. Still failing to gate but using the dirt line to his advantage. I type this as Harris has one more race left before the semis, but he has done enough tonight to deserve his plaudits.

Well done to the lad.

Steve, he was never going to set the world on fire in his first GP, Jeez - what do you expect from the poor lad?! :P

But he needed time, and by the looks of it tonight, he didn't need a lot of time to get into the semis in only his 2nd ever GP.

Quite an achievement - well done Bomber. B)

I didn't expect anything from him but they way some were carrying on last GP you would have thought he had won it! :D

I don't think the praise for the last GP was undeserved. Okay, so he didn't have the highest points haul, but he did provide some exciting racing, passing other riders for his points, and battling all the way. It makes a change for us Brits to have something to be enthusiastic about, so of course we get excited when we see racing as good as that!

Chris's performance tonight reminds me of a few years ago when Trelawny was up and running and his performances from the back in the PL days.

Great to see him going so well. Can see plenty of St Pirans's Flags heading to Cardiff this year!

He did deserve the praise last time. It was a very respectable debut. Now tonight is another stepping stone. He is surely the most exciting British racer in the league.

The sad thing though is we know that Cardiff won't suit his style. Mind you, if he keeps up tonight's performance in might be a bumper gate in Wales and perhaps Olsen then might think about the preparation of the track to suit a real racer.
