Scott0311
Could of sworn that I read somewhere that if a reserve replaces a rider then he must take the rest of the replaced riders outings. I think it was brought in just in case there were injuries or a rider out of form. Then again I may be completely wrong No I was right! http://www.fim.ch/EN/rules/Sportifs/ccp/20...TIONS%20Eng.pdf Check out rule 078.3.4 Team Composition - the FIM have kindly highlighted the reserve rulings Edited June 9, 2007 by Scott0311

Seb the Snail
Were it ever in any doubt, Rico booked his place in the GB side last night, showing Middlo at first hand that he can still beat the best. Harris and Nicholls are guaranteed picks, and even I have to concede that Mr Howe deserves his chance on the big stage this year. That just leaves pick 5, and with Eddie Kennett the most improved British rider in the league I think that the starting line-up is already assured. Silver Bee
Kennett should be saved for Poland. Allen should be in at Coventry.
M08
My guess would be: Nicholls Harris Howe Stead Richardson Res: Kennett
SwissPosition
Not a bad squad at all. Nice to see that our starting line-up will most likely not be dependant on riders in the twilight of their careers. Bodes well for the future. 3rd on the podium would be a nice goal for this year, and with a bit of luck and some really top performances from the guys it could be higher. Fingers crossed. Watching the Sky repeat as I type. Very impressive nights work by Rico. Along with the recent showings by Howe, Harris and Kennett, our future looks rosier! Just hope they can all be in form on the nights. Just need Scott to pull his finger out a bit! I'd still go with Olly at Coventry though. MattK
My guess would be: Nicholls Harris Howe Stead Richardson Res: Kennett <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think I'd swap Kennett with Stead, but other than that, I think it's looking good. I can't see the point of dropping one of the top five in order to allow a "track specialist" to ride at Coventry. I think you're better off giving Kennett the extra experience and after all, qualifying via the race-off isn't a bad thing, ask the Danes.
