Hello

 

Slovenian speedway website http://www.speedway.si will open the new season of LIVE UPDATES with the European pairs championship semifinal in Natschbach (Austria) tommorow.

 

Seven nations are participating in this meeting, which includes Sweden, Finland, Germany, Czech republic, France, Austria and Slovenia. Here are the lineups of all teams as announced by the organisers:

Think you have to question the strength of some countries entries here.Why bother entering a competition if you are going to send B or C quality riders.Germany + Sweden for instance couldn't have taken this competition very seriously.At least Austria and Cz Republic did :neutral:

Must agree with that. 4 of the teams didn't even bother to send a reserve. Anyway it was an enjoyable meeting, only marred by the dangerous stupidity of simota. When will this idiot learn that speedway is dangerous enough without the likes of him barging into other riders without no thought of the other blokes safety. Luckily fritz wallner got up and was only bruised, but it could have been a lot worse. There's no place in speedway for riders like this!!!!!

Just like last year, the final info on JK must have come really late, since I heard riders were getting call's on friday!!! The Finns would have had a decent team with Finnish #1 and #2 + Joonas who's as good as the others combined. Such a shame about his shoulder, a real shame. :sad:

 

The Swedish team was poor, but I think the others were about right. We were supposed to have the best on offer.
