Polish Extraleague - Round V - May 3rd 2007

Polish Ekstraleague Round 5

Matches:

Unia Leszno Sportowa SA - ZKŻ Kronopol Zielona Góra

UNIBAX Toruń - Marma Polskie Folie Rzeszów [moved -> Sunday may 13th]

Atlas Wrocław - Polonia Bydgoszcz

Unia Tarnów ŻSSA - CKM Złomrex Włókniarz Częstochowa [live on Polsat Sport - 17:55 CET]

After "round of miracles", next one doesn`t look so interesting, but we can`t be so sure until those matches ends. The most interesting match will be in Tarnow. Leszno after fantastic win in Bydgoszcz should beat ZG by 10-15 points and Wroclaw will surely beat Bydgoszcz at home.

AJ is not riding tomorrow in Wroclaw so it's gonna be a real slaugter :(

The hottest meeting takes places in Leszno, of course. A local derby match, 20'000 fans expected, tripled amount of police.. Wish it was on telly!

Live updates on SportoweFakty.pl, as always.

Unia Leszno to nie jest polski klub, to nie jest polski klub, to nie jest polski klub. Hej!  :P

Zielona Gora to w Polsce najwieksza ...... ! Alright, I don't like Leszno either :P(but fingers crossed for them this time)

31:9 Let's talk about miracles

Czestochowa 46 vs 44 Torun. That is, in fact, a nice surprise  :)

A very poor showing from Kolodziej was Tarnow's downfall, while Marcin Rempala's miserable season doesn't get any better.

Edit:

ZKZ winning in Leszno at the minute. I reckon Leszno will turn it around, but Falubaz are starting to look the part.

Well, if you follow Polonia Bydgoszcz, it might be an idea not to look at the result - they're taking an Ipswich style hammering.

Without AJ we are nothing. Besides, the track is extremely screwed up. A radio commentator is talking about the track all the time so there must be something wrong with this. No fight, as usually at Wroclaw. I don't know what Wroclaw management want to gain this way, but not crowds for sure.. The attendance about 3000 only. No one wants to watch such sh!ttie meetings every time..

Czestochowa won with Torun. That is, in fact, a miracle  :)

Not a miracle. It's just the best speedway league in the world and such close results happen in matches between the best teams. And Tarnow, not Torun..

And the rout in Wroclaw ends, with the home team beating Bydgoszcz 59-30. It seems, given the number of falls and exclusions (a total of three races where only a couple of riders completed the four laps), that Mateusz could have a point regarding track conditions. But, no doubt, Herr Olsen will be ready and willing to have it super-slick for the GP.

And after a brave fight, Zielona Gora lose by 50-40 in Leszno.
