manchesterpaul
I notice that the first SGP of the season has been scheduled for Sky Sports Extra. I'm not too up-to-date on the vagaries of Sky subscription packages. Is SSX a part of the general basic sports package, or is it an extra channel one has to pay more for?. I was just wondering as to whether the move represents a promotion - as in, they expect people will pay extra to watch it - or, whether it has been pushed to the back of beyond in order to fit it in to their schedules, rather similar to the importance allotted to the SGP highlights on terrestial television, which was shown in the early hours. Guest Schumi
Yes, Sky Sports Extra is part of the sports package. It's only MUTV, the two HD channels and NASN that you have to pay extra for. Edited April 24, 2007 by Schumi

manchesterpaul
I take it then that it has been shuffled out of sight. Has there been a series of trailers etc. letting viewers know it is coming up?.

essaitch
I'm sure SSX become available on cable about 18 months ago. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, available on cable and no different to anything else now. To answer Manchester Paul it doesn't make any difference at all. Extra used to be kept by Sky just for them, but is really just Sky Sports 4 now!
