AJ was certainly getting quite a bit of stick following Ljung's crash.

 

I got the impression that the atmosphere was much more akin to Football than what we are used to at our Speedway Meetings.

 

Very big riot police with balaclavas, shields and batons said it all really.

It wasn't bad but comparing to some other matches (especially the previous one: Bydgoszcz v Czestochowa) it was nothing really special (tho' still far better than average BEL meetings I saw last year). And I guess that's what Tarabanko meant.

I thought it was an excellent match and miles better than any British EL meeting i've seen this year.

I suspect that's why we're unlikely to see Ekstraliga action on Sky. It sounds like it would really show up the dross I've just suffered on Sky tonight.

I've always wondered what those blokes who comment matches on Sky would be saying if they had to comment on a Polish Ekstraliga match... I mean, if there's one or two passes in a BEL meeting they are so overjoyed and excited saying how fantastic the match is etc.

So if they had to comment on a really good meeting of Ekstraliga, both Nigel and Kelving would be probably lying fainted in front of their laptops and guys in the comment booth would be having an orgasm...
