In general a pretty boring meeting tonight - track way too slick and they need some banking on it to allow better racing lines.

Nicki P was awesome, so glad the bet went on this afternoon :P

Bomber did a job and a solid start. Gutted for Scott and hope his injury is not too bad.

Fingers crossed for the rest of the GP series we can have some better prepared tracks.

Can someone please explain to me how they decide the riding order for the semi's when riders tie on points ? The only way i can work it out on what happened tonight was that a rider with a lower race jacket number gets placed higher. Is a lottery drawn that we don't see before the riders pick gate positions ? To my logic semi one would have 1st 3rd 5th and 7th and semi two would have 2nd 4th 6th and 8th. But semi one had 1st 4th 6th and 7th. While semi two had 2nd 3rd 5th and 8th. Spoilt it a bit for me as i was rubbing my hands at a first semi lineup of Pedersen,Adams,Crump and Andersen !!! Jagus had a better tally than Crump as he had 3 wins to Crumps 2 and beat him when they met yet had the harder semi on the night. Can anyone explain how they arrange the order ?

When Nicki won the last GP of 2006 it struck me he was serving notice that he was going to be a contender in 2007. A flawless display.

I hope he's started here as he means to go on. It was interesting to see that he wasn't continuely placing ice packs on his forearms has he as done in previous years - which hopefully means the problems he's had are finally cured.

Chris Harris did well on his debut and continued good luck to him - nasty crash involving Scott Nicholls - let's hope he's fine.

Well done to Jagus on his first GP - he can be a spoiler in this year's GP's

As for the rest of it - this was a routine meeting in my opinion - dull for the first 4 heats but it took off eventually - but didn't provide a spectacular meeting.

They do need to get some dirt on the track - otherwise put some tarmac down and then they can cease the pretense of this sport being raced on dirt

Pleasently surprised by Jagus...although if he misses the gate 5 times he will score nothing.....but took his chances well...no one was looking for him today...think it may be different from now on

Hope Scott is ok after the crash...Im sure even Sub will forget his silly squabbles and wish him well after such an awful crash

regards level scores after 20 races

1st tie break heat wins

2nd tie break result when riders met

regards your logic, surely it would make sense top rider would be in easier semi, hence semi 1 1/4/6/7 semi 2 2/3/5/8

An enjoyable GP.

Very well done Nicki, in a class of his own.

Was disappointed that Hans didn't reach the final, although at one stage I thought he'd miss out on the semi's.

Bomber impressive, certainly not out of his depth.

Scotts crashed looked really nasty he was so lucky to just escape with a broken thumb, hopes he's fit for Wroclaw.

Loved Nicki's haircut, I understand its the height of fashion for both sexes!!!

I'll second that Schumi! :approve:

Nicki Pedersen was "on fire" tonight. A well deserved win. I had a feeling that he would win this. Yes, good to see that the surgery in the winter seems to have solved the problems he had with his arms. How he rode last year in such pain I will never know. A truly brave effort last year and a successful one tonight. :D

The method for deciding ties is as follows:

When establishing the order between the riders in the list of Intermediate

Classification at the conclusion of Heat 20, or following the completion of the

Semi-Final Heats 21 and 22, any ties will be solved as follows :

a) Precedence will be given to the riders (tied on race points) having the most

number of 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th placings (a “0” for last placing is better than

being disqualified for whatever reason).

b ) If the tie still persists and involves only 2 riders, precedence will be given to

the better placed rider in the heat or heats where the 2 riders met.

c) If the tie still persists and involves more than 2 riders, it shall be checked

whether there is a possibility to determine a proper precedence (e.g.

3 riders tied on points : A, B, C :

rider A has beaten rider B

rider A has beaten rider C

rider B has beaten rider C

Then the precedence will be : best position for rider A, then rider B and then

rider C.

d) If solutions a), b ) and c) cannot resolve the tie, then the lowest riding

number jacket will be deemed the better placed rider.

The full GP regulations are here: GP REGULATIONS.

One word for Nicki tonight and that is Outstanding.

The guy has been in this form all this season for the Esgles.

Goooooooooo Nickiiiiiiiiiiiiii :D  :D  :D

Hate to burst your bubble, but Nicki allways has gone well on big tracks that are hard to pass on.

Tonight he was the best rider by a mile, but the track did help.

Excellent GP last night from Lonigo!

Track was very slick... Why did they have to water it soo much? Think it caught a few riders out!!

Think AJ and Bjarne both should have been excluded because OK Bjarne touched the tapes first but AJ did touch them as well!

Feel for Leigh Adams.. That's one bloke who i would like to see win the World Championship one year!!

Nicki Pedersen though! 24 points from 7 rides! Absolutely AMAZING!!! :D

Dirty riding from Bjarne Pedersen with Hans Andersen and the geezer had the nerve to complain to the ref about it disgrace!!!

If that would have been a certain A N other pedersen then the Poole fans on here would have gone mad.

Nice to see the Poole fans congratulating Nikki on his win.

I wouldnt say it was dirty. He should have bene excluded and the tace re-run though, Hans was impeded badly, had he gone down he'd have got a re-run!
