Doncaster Spedway Track

The address was Greyhound Stadium, York Road, Doncaster. Mike Parker and Bill Bridgett were the promoters in 1969, and Joe Thurley and John Berry in 1970. I've mislaid my History of the British League 1965-1990 book, so I can't give you the riders, but I'm sure someone else will be able to help.

Apparently the site of the stadium is at the rear of Regent Grove and is covered by housing :(

Speedway first took place there on 1st September 1929, but the details have been lost. Any programme from this period would be worth a small fortune!
