tarabanko Posted March 14, 2007 Report Share Posted March 14, 2007 Has just finished reading Speedway Special; the classic legends by John Chaplin and it was a good book. In the book the film Britannia of Billingsgate is on a few pages and it is intresting in the way that the film included some speedway from New Cross and Crystal Palace with the legends Ron Johnson, The late Tom Farndon and Colin Watson. The following month, 'Britannia' will feature. And who knows, the series of Speedway in the TV & Movies may eventually get to 'Honest'...!!! Most of the items in the series of books would interest anyone who appreciates the History of Speedway. And "poor old Norbold" has never claimed to have seen all the "Farndons" of this World has he????
