Saint Rob
Not sure if this has been covered already, but whats everyone's thoughts on this years GP series? As for the crown itself, it will be a 3 horse race between Hans Andersen, Jason Crump and Nicki Pedersen. Hans will prove that last year wasn't a fluke and will take the title, with Nicki making it a Denmark 1-2 This year we'll see Hampel and Jonsson have a bit more consistancy, while it could be the beginning of the end for Adams, Hancock & Gollob. Matej Zagar will suffer from 2nd season syndrome. I expect Bjarne Pedersen to be more consistant this year and as usual Nicholls and Lindback will only have 1 or 2 good rounds this year and rely on a nomination for 2008. Can't really see Harris, Holta and Jagus doing much though. So, I think the GP's will finish like this 1 Andersen 2 N Pedersen 3 Crump 4 Hampel 5 Jonsson 6 Hancock 7 Adams 8 B Pedersen 9 Gollob 10 Zagar 11 Nicholls 12 Lindback 13 Holta 14 Harris 15 Jagus
Subedei
Rob, you're a saint. Well, my initial thought regarding 2007 is, of course, why is the beggar still there? But I sense you under-estimate the "Blueberry" - I can see Wieslaw Jagus making a favourable impression in 2007. Well, my initial thought regarding 2007 is, of course, why is the beggar still there? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My thoughts exactly. They have finally done away with Lee Richardson, so Scotty must be looking over his shoulder, where he will find Simon Stead waiting to replace him. Thats providing they stick with 2 Brits

Hazzman
Rob, you're a saint. Well, my initial thought regarding 2007 is, of course, why is the beggar still there? But I sense you under-estimate the "Blueberry" - I can see Wieslaw Jagus making a favourable impression in 2007. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's the most competitive line-up for years, take away Harris and add P.Karlsson, quite possibly the top 15 riders of thw world. I think you now have 5 riders who can challenge for the title: Crump, N.Pedersen, Andersen, Jonsson, Hancock. Nicholls's season will a disaster, probably end up about 13th. The likes of Holta and Jagus will have his number on the 'real' tracks. The likes of B.Pedersen and Lindback will end up like Sullivan and Richardson of previous years. Beat themselves up about poor starts of the GP season.
KevH
Don't underestimate Matej Zagar this season - I believe we will see tremendous progress from the lad.

rickmiller
HANCOCK Crump Adams N. Pedersen Zagar Jonsson B. Pedersen The Grin has at least one championship left in him. Crump and Adams will be consistant all year but will fall one or two points short. Anderson is an unknown as there is a lot more pressure on him this year. Make or break year for Scotty, big learning curve for Bomber. The rest will have their moments but not regularly.
Guest Schumi
HANCOCK Crump Adams N. Pedersen Zagar Jonsson B. Pedersen. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Seriously? I think Greg was underestimated last year and can't be ruled out of the top 5, but I can't see him being World Champ. Make or break year for Scotty <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This has a familiar ring to it. Subedei
This has a familiar ring to it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It certainly has, hasn't it. No doubt it'll have the same ring next year when the terminally deluded spout it, again.

Subedei
Can't see anyone getting near Crump in the race for the title. But Andersen troubles me - he could finish in the hunt for the podium, or he could potter around down with the also rans. He's a lot to prove. He had a lot to prove last year and he proved it, to a point. But once his place for 2007 was secure, he was among the also rans again.
