pedropete
Big thanks to Mama for organising this trip and big thanks also to everyone on board who made it an enjoyable day out. Special thanks to the Bydgoszcz lad who entertained us on our last hour of the return journey. I don't think I've ever had quite such a surreal conversation. I'll make this clear, here and now, that I will not be hanging around his school gates on my next trip to Bydgoszcz. I'll do some maths at some point soon and let you know how much we raised together for the Garry Stead fund. Rico <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Soon be next year. Cannot wait. We must do a coach trip on the sunday again. Sure Ian the technicolour vomitter cannot wait.

Couldnt believe quite how packed the place was! Swindon lot... if u have to sing on bus journeys again in the near future, please no xmas songs!! And the irony of singing "what would you do if I sang out of tune" out of tune!! We did have a good old laugh at u all!! Rico - that convo was just as surreal listening to it! Was an interesting choice of lines he should use to pick up the ladies! Lawerence - Im still waiting my email xx

Lawrence
yes the game we played is called the speedway name game. Enjoyed watching your card game on the way there. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It was Makao Speedway Game - Polish card game [the rules are a bit complicated for newcomers to understand]. The main rule is - Person that finishes 1st gets 3pts, 2nd - 2pts, 3rd - 1point and 0 points for finishing last - as it is in speedway. Also we use TR and we have Time Keeper First match PBNF T-shirt Team [Kabat/Krzysiek] won 51-42 with track record 50,88 and 2nd match finished 49-42 for my team [Lawrence/Waldek], but the aggregate bonus point faded away

Rico
Just to confirm the breakdown of the amount raised for the Garry Stead Fund was Money received £400.00 (40 X £10) Cost of bus 1200zl / 5.45 = £220.00 (lets ignore the pennys) Balance for the fund £180.00 Thanks to everyone for agreeing to donating the money to Garry's fund - I'll sort out the payment into the bank account set-up for receiving money in the next few days. Rico
Thanks to a very kind donation of £20 from 2 very good friends of the Pugwash variety the final total is now a nice round £200. I'm just waiting to hear back from someone involved with the fund how I can pay cash into the relevant account. Once again, thanks to all for helping a very deserving cause.
