MattyHart
Its a disgrace. as per usual, we at redcar have ended up being s**t on <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What!! You were not in the pairs or 4's last year and this year is your first year in either,so how the hell are you being s**t on as per usual its the first time its happened
razzer
am afraid yet another example of the people running the sport who are absolutely hopeless No one can deny that on merit Watson and Parker deserveto be in the meeting but they threw edinburgh out when they changed their partnership the BSPA management committee and chairman Nogood need to removed eb bloc and the sport needs a credible governing body with no ae to grind and no club connections basically t the moment the people with most clout who shout loudest get what they want In both the Pairs and 4's there are two many teams , why they haven bothered with any sort of qualifying is beyond anyone surely those on a borderline for qualification could have run off after a main meeting it cant be that hard to organise Basically this year has been a complete shambles and just stumbles from one ridiculous decision to another What will they come up with next !!!!! Daniel Smith
Unless i'm being thick I really can't see a problem It makes perfect sense to include Watson. Same as I would exspect Kings Lynn to be thrown out if we had Topinka & Nermark injured. I'd rather see teams compete in these competitions with there strongest riders than have teams turn up with second string/reserves riding with no chance of winning. stevehone
how many meetings had Moggo ridden in for Workington before clinching the 4's for them last year?
GMILLS
how many meetings had Moggo ridden in for Workington before clinching the 4's for them last year? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Moggo had rode 11 meetings for us before he won us the 4's last yr so there is a bit of difference between 11 and riding 0 meetings for a club
seanisnumber1
Bit unfair on Redcar i feel with Havelock and Grieves fit and ready to race..can understand what they are saying about no changing the pairing due to it being too close to the event with many Glasgow fans probably already organised travel etc... Watson has been included because he is a very good rider even tho he hasnt acctually rode for Glasgow. But for the tournament as a whole, its best to have the best riders in the competition. The 4's tho Redcar have done nothing wrong. We were penciled into the original line up. But only through bad luck and injuries did we miss out. If you want to go by the rules that have been brought in that the 4's (as a competion) should have the best teams and riders as seems to have happened in the pairs then pick any 4 from Havvy,Grieves, Kerr Trez and Auty and Id say there you have a team who if they wont win the competition will be there or there abouts. I did read somewhere that one of the reasons Redcar wont be in the 4's would be the cost of re-printing the program, the program will be re-printed anyway. Whose going to read old news from weeks ago and what would be wrong (if they did use the old program) printing out a 4 page insertion to go inside it with the new line up. Teams like Rye house will have changed anyway. Going back to last year, if I remember right Redcar were niether in the Pairs or the 4's as we were a new club and it was fair that the established team were in these competitions which was fair enough. But this season we see Birmingham in both. REDCAR has done bugger-all in trying to cheat or swing things our way yet feel let down by those above Come on Havvy and Greivesy... Win the pairs for the Bears (catchy rhyme there for Redcar supporters )and show everyone that the 4's will be a total farce without some of the BEST riders in the premier league been aloud to ply their trade . These competions want the best riders..... My Arse

Joanne
But of course we are delighted Craig can take his place in the Pairs - C'MON THE STRIPES . <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Same here. We have a chance now, as Stancl was terrible when I went to Somerset last month. A Glasgow win on Friday will be the start to a great weekend
