spin king
Sorry , but not when not every team is allowed to compete . <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah but you need to qualify. Edited May 12, 2007 by spin king
Paulco
Yeah but you need to qualify. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That was the point a lot of people were making - if we had qualifiers then there wouldn't be any argueing about who should be in and who shouldn't . Kettering Panther
Every EL club gets a payout just as every PL club gets a payout when from the ELRC etc etc thats why these are referred to as 'shared' meetings
seanisnumber1
So then is everyone still planning to make the trip even with the dreadful weather forecast?? heres to hoping the rain goes a different way!!
crazysue
I am going to make a late decision on it rather than leaving early as I was going to do. Even if the meeting goes ahead, I don't fancy standing out in the rain with my 3 kids, there are not many worse things I could think of doing than that! Plus, if we do happen to arrive, pay to get in etc and then it gets rained off, I am away on holiday for the restaging and I am not planning on going to any of the other events due to distance, so my money would be wasted. Paulco
I'm the same - was going to go down today by train , but the forecast looks horrendous . Too far to travel for a rain-off or rain affected meeting .
roo
Unfortunately it may either be off or poorly attended.
Danzell
The weather for this doesnt actually look too bad now, may get a bit of rain from 3pm onwards but only 2.9mm (which isn't a lot) by 6pm. so going on this it shouldnt be too bad, come on get ya selves down there. Whats 3mm of rain? absolutely nothing, plus we had a big storm this afternoon (saturday) so that should have cleared most of it up. taken from the latest met check. : http://metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/tomorrow.asp?zipcode=Pe2 hey, I could be a weather man!!!! MattyHart
Workington IMO will probably win, glasgow dont stand a chance unless like last year lee dicken has some convenient bike troubles
Lioness
Workington IMO will probably win, glasgow dont stand a chance unless like last year lee dicken has some convenient bike troubles <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Except he didn't have bike troubles last year - he had a 3rd place and a tapes exclusion! (for which he was replaced by Ksiezak who came 4th lol) I happen to agree with your sentiment though especially as Glasgow are in the toughest group imo. Sheffield should do well and if Stonehewer is allowed to ride for Worky then its hard to see past them as serious challengers
DW
According to the BBC ,Peterborough's got nooo chance of being on!!! Heavy rain from 1pm See http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/24hr.shtml?id=3026 Edited May 13, 2007 by DW

Come on Isle of wight, we can show 'em all.
seanisnumber1
Weather not looking too good but still making the journey hoping somehow that the weather misses Peterborough!! On the more detailed weather forecasts looks like around 6pm will be the worst time!! Edited May 13, 2007 by seanisnumber1
