Premier League 4 Team Tournament

So does anyone know what the criteria is for the number of meetings a rider has to ride before the final, and when the cut off date for the number of meetings is?

or is this just yet another unexplained rule that the supporters, who are expected to pay to watch this part of the so called SUPER 7s, arnt going to find out about.

however it does seem strange that dave has ridden in 5 meetings to date and carl stonehewewr has only ridden in two, so have we comfirmation that this rule is real and dave isnt riding for any other reason?

any chance JC coming on again and explaining this one, and while he is about it he can explain the qualifiction for the pairs as well.

Well... see you all on the 8th then :P This IMO will never happen :(

A bright start to Sunday meeting, but the Heavy Showers are coming in at Mid-day and Staying with us all afternoon and evening. It says they will be coming and going all afternoon so who knows, might get lucky :)

Chyna has given the confirmation thats the reason David isn't riding, thats as good as coming from David himself Third Man :)

According to the Super7's website, the cut off date was 13th April for qualification. Now reading it again its been worded in such a way that they *could* argue that was only for qualification of the team and not the individual riders. And there was us thinking they were being more open this year - oh ok I thought that anyhow in my naievety!

Still makes no difference as far as Carl Stonehewer is concerned - if David's not eligible, neither is he. I have a funny feeling the reality will be different tho!

Thanks for advising the re-arranged date screamer - wonder if David would get to ride then? lol

Everything is just once again highlighting the need for qualifiers for the even either on the day (that would be brilliant for the fans and crowd numbers!) or beforehand

Might just be ok. Looking at metcheck the heavy rain isn't expected to hit Peterborough till about five/six so they will have to get the meeting through at a fair old rate as after that they expect a fair old bit of rain. Predicts P'boro will have 13mm of rain between six and midnight so probably won't be much racing after five or six.

Looks as though they will have to get the heats through in around three hours.
