spin king
hang on i was on the understanding that collins was racing ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Apologies , I was working on the principle that the Brummie team would be Ostergaard, Lyons, Sanchez and Werner. Matousek
Workington look the best. 3 'true heatleaders' in wright, stonehewer and nieminen.
Bagpuss
I would suggest that Lynn will have 'three true heat leaders' on the day too seeing as Bruce Lee has plenty of EoES experience Tomas would I expect rate it as one of his favourites and Nermark seems to be able to ride anything with four bends so I suppose our chances rest with Millsy and Trevor! Leigh
Second thoughts..... don't need an old bat if your gonna be there. Third thoughts will bring one just in case I need to hit someonething for six<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Fourth thoughts...if you're going, I'm not! Ok, I'll go, as long as I can be on your team? Pleeeeeeease! (I only wanna see if Brenda Gormley's still hanging around the pits! )
nic
Can anyone advise on how accessible the viewing is for wheelchair users? It's been years since I was at the Showground. Thanks
CIDER
1) kings Lynn 2) Somerset 3) Workington 4) Rye House Nah a two mn team in my opinion I agree Somerset are top heavy but Ritchie Hawkins is ex-Peterborough who will finish in the points every race + the track is ideal for res Simon Walker. Paul lee seems to be doing better than i thought this year, home or away.
windsor
Can anyone advise on how accessible the viewing is for wheelchair users? It's been years since I was at the Showground. Thanks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> you should have a grand view,as if you wish to sit in the stands area then there is a wheelchair ramp just by the start line so you could park then so youd be 15m ish behind the start line. hope that helps you

Chyna
Rubbish. The rider averages are what qualifies them for this meeting! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wouldn't be too sure about that - David McAllan's average has been used to calculate Glasgow's ability to qualify but he has been told he is not eligible to ride as he has not completed enough meeting! It says mccallan was in it on the list?. I still think there looks something dodgy in this. Ok redcar may have not been the best team since the injuries, but still they brought robbie in, like carl at worky, so i think should have stayed in it personally. Bryn
I wonder, perchance, if there's anyone intending to travel to the East of England Showground for Sunday's meeting VIA the Dartford Tunnel who has a spare seat in their car / van / lorry or whatever that they could possibly consider offering to a harmless old git with a gammy left foot. Said harmless OG with a gammy left foot would naturally, of course, be willing to contribute towards petrol / diesel costs. Should there be such a person in this world, then a swift phonecall to 077734 935468 would be more than appreciated.

So using that rule, Workington are royally screwed then?! Can we expect a Workington team of Niemanen, Branney, Carpenese and C. Wright?! Despite the fact it was the averages of Niemanen, Wright, Branney and Hansen!!

ajh
Anyone know if there is a restaging date set for this meeting? Just checked on the BBC Website and the forecast is for rain in Peterborough from Friday - Monday. Hopefully that might change over the next couple of days but it's not the greatest forecast

Guest PanthersChamp06
dont think the rain is as bad as first thought, so the meeting might get lucky im hoping its on, as havent seen prem league racing for ages

Sheffield got screwed and its kinda amusing since they have thebest track & team in the world, except for Poole. im hoping its on, as havent seen prem league racing for ages <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And now there was me thinking your B team (Oxford) had already visited the EoES. On a more serious note, is there TV coverage of the Play Offs anywhere inside the stadium. It's Albion v Wolves Sunday, I was gonna make the trip until that was scheduled. I'm not stupid/brave enough to watch it live, so Sky is the safe option.
