tocha
Whilst not out and out calling the kid a traitor and a cheat - although not far off it has to be said - I think if I were the kid's parents I'd be pretty annoyed at your posts above. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> To begin with, apart from having the 'wizard of oz' on his kevlars, has Tai declared publicly his allegiance? The fact he is competing in the GB rounds and that Rye House have him declared as a British rider must have some bearing. However if it is perceived that there is any doubt in his mind all stops must be pulled to ensure he remains so. This lad is one of the most exciting talents seen in recent years from anywhere in the World. To my mind he ranks alongside Peter Collins, Dave Jessup, Billy Sanders, Michael Lee and Jason Crump from the point of view of progress made at such a young age. stargirl91
probably if it wasnt so difficult for young aussies to come over and get a team place with a high average then they wouldnt use the *lupehole*. yes, we want the brits, but other nationalities have to earn a living too. i doubt many aussie fans moaned when scotty was in their aussie championship in the winter in the end, i'll be supporting tai tonight, i think hes got natural talent, and have thought that since i first saw him last year. Steve Shovlar
Gutted for Eddie. Absolutely gutted. Anywhere else and he would be at Cardiff. Well done to Howe, the HTA helped all the way. Well done to Harris, best rider on display. But tonight Eddie Kennett showed he has come of age and will be a major player over the next decade. Guest Schumi
Congratulations to both Chris for being the new British champion, and David for getting the wildcard at Cardiff – both thoroughly deserved.

Well done to Howe, the HTA helped all the way. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agree with the first part! Sorry I cannot congratulate Howe, he would not have been anywhere near the final if it had been held at any other track in the country! Still, as I am not going to be at Cardiff I don't have to endure any of this! For me tonight, it was great to hear Mark Loram, he came across really well! Steve Shovlar
Agree Sue but I am trying to be magnanimous in defeat, no matter how painful it is.

lupus
Sour grapes all round in Dorset then I see! SuzieQ - don't let facts get in the way of your bias now will you....check out David's form both at monmore AND away from home - he IS the 3rd best Brit in the country at the moment and deserves to be at Cardiff! As I said previously, no-one complained about Monmore being chosen when it was 'assumed' that David wouldn't be in the British Final, or that he'd have a crap season like last year, suddenly everyone's jumping up and down and moaning! Pathetic! Well done HOWIE! Edited June 4, 2007 by lupus
Bagpuss
Also well done to Danny King and Olly Allen. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agree with that, they were the two surprise packets and rode very well. First staging of Final was quite clearly typical first bend bunching. Commiserations to Kennett but his time will undoubtably come.
