Most of the Bundesliga squads are now complete.Or as complete as they get until someone can't do a meeting and a new squad member is added at the last minute.I hope it stays fairly stable and not like a couple of years back when some teams had 2 or 3 new riders every meeting

Anyway Joonas + Henning are back for Brokstedt.I guess as cover for Matten who as Brokstedt have 3 meetings early on will miss most of the season.Manuel Hauzinger signed for Pfafenhofen and Okoniewski back for Neuenknick alongside Kevin Wölbert.

Thanks iris123 thats great looks like I may be able to make it to a few meetings over here this year. Now that the German GP looks like it has the green light that should be good fun too.

Plenty going on.You are though more in Grasstrack/Longtrack country.But Neuenknick for the Bundesliga meeting should be good.And 5th May in Moorwinkelsdamm for the Master of Speedway is also a highlight of the season.

DIEDENBERGEN (jo) - the Speedway-Mannschaftsmeister MSC Diedenbergen ninefold German wants to be celebrate in the next year 50-year-old existence. For 35 years that has gone tradition united out of the small Hofheimer quarter in the first national league. Around a hair, it would not have come to this anniversary, for the busy society with the probably best new generation working in German Speedway-landing wanted to explain in December its resignation out of the national league. "The decision was certain already practically to 100 percent. First after long negotiations with association, sponsors and our drivers and after three board meetings until respectively late into the night in we have let ourselves once again breitschlagen to venture once again an attempt", MSC-boss Ziller declared Wolfgang on a press conference at the late Monday evening.

 

Now yet yet the starting shot fells on Sunday (14 o'clock) Speedway-Mannschaftsmeisterschaft in the organization-specific Rhine-Main-stadium with the season opening course of the German. Next to the vice master MSC Diedenbergen, the MSC Brokstedt, the SC new kinks and the German record master go AC country hat (climber out of the II. League) at the start. What happened was? Basically says the were within a hairs breadth of pulling out of the Bundesliga.The SVG decided very late(December) to drastically reduce the team building limit from 38 to 30 points and scrap the 2.Bundesliga.This was to help the teams from Southern Germany enter,but penalised the existing teams.Diedenbergens team plans were thrown into the bin because of it.It meant their great youth policy,which had seen them win the 2.Division for the last 3 years was for nothing as they had to release some of their top riders like Max Dilger and Rudi Swoboda."A joke,an absurdity" said boss Ziller with the anger clearly showing in his face.

It also meant the 10 year long relationship with the Dryml brothers has had to be broken as they are assesed at 14 points each.There is resistance forming against the SVG and they hope in the next year new people will be elected with new ideas otherwise speedway will continue downwards.

Not sure what the next bit is with Robbie Kessler.They hope maybe to use him near the end of the season,but maybe just a mistake why they mention Oxford and not Stoke

Not happy that the 2.Bundesliga was srapped as this means their first meeting of the season(today) will also be their last of the season.

 

Must just add that in the German Track mag it did say that Olching were hoping to use Jurica Pavlic or Andrew Appleton whenever Martin Smolinski couldn't do a meeting.Which in the case of young Pavlic would be great
