21st century heathen
I haven't checked anything online, but our local says that Boycie will be there although he's not riding. (direct quote from Sam)
SuzieQ
Does it have Mark Loram, Craig Boyce or Watty in it though Chris? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Behave yourself boy! It ain't my fault that I support those riders and have little or no interest in the likes of Lindgren, Karlsson, Gjedde, Jonsson and co! As I said, I am going to show my support for Sam, whom I have know for far too many years now
Silver Bee
Maybe not but it's still a good line-up for some top draw racing and I can't wait
21st century heathen
Suzie - If you're genuinely not excited by the line up of riders that Sam has put together then I have to tell you that I find that quite sad. There's no rider Cradley fans love to hate more than Sam, but I've got to take my hat off to him. This meeting (the whole day) could prove to be the best of it's kind (farewell, or testimonial etc). T.N.T.
MATCH-RACE: Bruce Penhall, Sam Ermolenko. QUALIFYING LINE-UP: Travis McGowan, Chris Neath, Chris Kerr, Steve Johnston, Ronnie Correy, Brent Werner, Dean Barker, Mark Lemon. MAIN EVENT LINE-UP: 1. Jason Crump 2. Joe Screen 3. Fredrik Lindgren 4. Scott Nicholls 5. Greg Hancock 6. Billy Hamill 7. Leigh Adams 8. Qualifier 9. Chris Harris 10. Billy Janniro 11. Peter Karlsson 12. Chris Louis 13. Charlie Gjedde 14. Andreas Jonsson 15. David Norris 16. Qualifier <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sam has had alot of offers from riders to ride in this meeting and Sam has gone with a field of 'close buddies' for this meeting which looks like being a great day. Only three of the 2006 Reading team are there (4 with Lemon), suprised not to see Zagar there. Would have been nice to have seen track specialists, Hans Andersen and Nicki Pedersen in there against PK, Adams, Nicholls and Crumpy. A great day ahead and its just 14 days away ! Nevs
What a guy Sam is. Had never met him before last night Even through all the hassle of arranging his farewell meeting he gave up his time last night to travel down to the latest Exeter supporters club meeting. And what a night it was..... Many thanks Sam--you are an absolute credit to speedway-Think you have a new 15 year old fan in this house badgering me about do I know the way to Wolverhampton-And to think he was a Billy Hamill fan before that. Thanks for taking the time to chat to him afterwards. Loved the way you said at the Brewers Fayre they had it wrong as it said on banners Mothers Day 18th March -book now-and how you said its not right its 18th March SuddenSamsflamingfarewell -book now.-Class Send me a couple of banners the same size and I may just swap them over late at night-they wont notice Work to do on the Beat the Starter thingy though-nice effort and thanks for taking the time to give it a go in front of everyone-another example of entertaining the fans. Thanks Sam--you were a credit to the sport last night and had the crowd enthralled and hope your night goes as well as did the Exeter Supporters club meeting last night thanks to you. T.N.T.
Thats Sam for you Always takes time to chat and a credit to the sport. Nevs - are you coming up for his day then ?
Fourentee
Nevs: Sam and Peter Collins were the special guests fairly recently at an auction night in Shropshire for the benefit of Luke Priest (badly injured at Stoke last season, as you are doubtless aware). Both were excellent, reminiscing about their time in the sport, chatting, signing countless autographs/pix etc. There's something teeth-grindingly saccharine about describing people as ambassadors for their sport – a phrase I try to avoid – but hey, that's what they were. I don't think Monmore is one of Matej's fave tracks, at least not yet. I can't see who he could replace a do a better job (if we look at it oon those terms). T.N.T.
The Wolves P+P started last night with Sam riding his 1993 bike for the first 30 mins or so. He has kitted himself out with new kevlars for the occasion which are based on the stars and stripes and look a bit like the blue suit Evel Kninevel used at Wembley in the 70's. Promises to be a great day with the big finale said to be worth the entrance fee alone (Whatever it is) This Sunday - Gates open at 12.30, racing starts at 4pm, but be warned . . the car park will be full by 2.30pm Crump - PK - Lindgren - Hancock - Hamill - Jonsson - Nicholls - Adams etc etc
Robyn1972
I take it it is possible to buy tickets on the day for this? Can't find anywhere on the website where it says you can!

crazysue
Gutted!! The friend who was supposed to be taking us is not well so is unable to and my car is not exactly in a healthy state, so now can't make it on Sunday. A year I have been looking forward to this meeting, a whole blooming year and it gets to a few days before and I can't go.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrr and arrrrrgggggghhhhh. Anyway, now I can't go, is anyone able to text updates to the updates site so at least I can see how things are going? If you can, could you please either leave a message here or send me an email or pm. Thanks
