German Speedway Fan
Try this Homepage for getting Tickets: http://www.dmv-lg-berlin.de/ Will be there too for this meeting. I always have been able to buy my tickets at the track.
Paragon
Me & Wifey thinking of going, we usually go in the Haupttribüne due to the fact I think it has rained every time we have been (except the time when it snowed). I prefer Berlin to Assen because it's much better accomadation wise & I think the racing is better. There is more skill involved rather than shere horse power. iris123
I will be there. There will be a training camp on the 14th and 15th for anyone who goes over early.I should be there friday for practice if anyone is there for that. And like GSF says there shouldn't be any trouble buying tickets on the day.Doubt there will be a big upsurge in the attendance this year, unless Bauer is winning . Conkers
Looks like we may have enough for a Forum meet up then. I'm 50 on 17th March so I'm covering the meeting then having a few drinks afterwards. Have to agree with Iris 123 though, Bauer's non-appearance two years ago slashed the gate numbers, and the Erfurt Crowd suffered too, as he was a Golden Spike Competitor I managed to book into the Winters Hotel across the road from the stadium too! icanicant
There are usually plenty of tickets, but you may not be able to get into the popular areas, seats, first bend etc. we usually order tickets by email through the website mentioned above, and collect them on the day. Only problem is payment by bank order, which can be quite expensive with the add on fees. we usually stop in hotels near to the main centre which is a steady half hours walk from the stadium. The hotel that Conkers stays in is certainly the nearest to the track, it depends what your looking for from the weekend. We always try to get some sightseeing in and we have found a good local bar owned by an american just off the Ku'dam
GARY POPPS
). I prefer Berlin to Assen because it's much better accomadation wise & I think the racing is better. There is more skill involved rather than shere horse power. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> [/quoe] Went to Berlin last year and thought the racing was no where near as good as Assen.Maybe it was because it was team final as opposed to a GP.Anyway i,m going to give Berlin another go this year as its a GP,(as well as Assen of course!) Paragon
The Ruskies are so dominent at the moment the team championship is never going to produce much in the way of decent racing. I also don't think the riders put as much in to the team champianship as the individual. I've been to Assen about 12 times & Berlin 4 times & have prefered my visits to Berlin, but I have seen some cracker's at Assen too.
