Guest Schumi
Nicolai looking good then. Were you impressed with him Doug?
iris123
Yes.As ever he looked good. Was only beaten by Klaus Jakobsen(finally saw a good meeting from him ) and Brian Lyngsø(also impressive). Was a very dry and dusty track.Think the riders must have had trouble seeing in some heats. They did decide to water the track after 3 heats instead of 4 early on.Can't really remember any passing but it wasn't a bad meeting. The racing was close.Mads looked good as he should and Hauzinger looked better than i have seen him for some time.A bit unlucky,as he was at the gate and his helmet colour wasn't on properly. The start marshall adjusted it and he was ready to go.In the meantime his team manager ran across the infield and got in front of him so Manuel moved back while the guy adjusted it a bit more and he was excluded for time! Not a happy bunny. Then in his next heat a connection to the spark plug broke. I really don't know how the track can host the European Semi though. It as about the most basic track i have seen.Only 1 toilet,no gates of any sort, although they have renewed the track fence. Photos will follow, but they are renovating the upload mode at the mo

Made the rest of the field look mediocre, and for me to say that, knowing how much I like Hans and respect Jason, it says it all about how good he was last night. Though Jagus and Gollob were providing the excitement factor. Edited April 29, 2007 by Schumi
iris123
Update on DSL results Holstebro 39 (B.Pedersen 23)-Esbjerg 48(K.Bjerre 13+1,M.Korneliussen 13+1) Slangerup 57(Jesper B 17+1)-Holstebro 30(R.Sola 12) Fjelsted 44(K.Jakobsen 16,T.Jedrzejak 15+1)- Grindsted 42(J.Kristiansen 12+1)  Today is a holiday in Denmark and there is an afternoon meeting between Esbjerg + Slangerup. Two of the teams who look strong.I am off soon but here are the line-ups  Esbjerg K.Bjerre B.Lyngsø M.Korneliussen K.Jacobsen J.Kikkenborg  Slangerup G.Walasek D.Jeleniewski S.Aldén H.Vedel J.Kristiansen   DSL info  On a sad note.Looks like Nicolai had a fall in his meeting for Team Bikab last night and had to pull out.Think he agravated his shoulder injury.Hope it is nothing too bad Edited May 4, 2007 by iris123
tarabanko
Yes Nikolai took a purler yesterday in Eskilstuna in his second outing. He made a ligtening start but in the middle of the bend the bike lifted and Nikolai couldnt get it down in time [ I dont know if he was unable to do that beacuse he may still not be 100% fit] Nikolai landed on the same shoulder as he had done at Sheffield.  Nikolai says he will now rest til next weekend may 12 where he is due to compete in the qualifier for the Junior World final at Örebro in Sweden. Good to see Henning Bager and met Matten Kröger at a petrol station on the way to denmark. Both hoping to get back on track soon.Quote of the day goes to Mads, when i asked how tracks in Denmark are compared to England.Well it's a family forum so i can't put his reply on here Edited May 5, 2007 by iris123

Delgado
I have a question about Jesper Kristiansen, it looks like there is two riders with the same name , one is riding for Grindsted B-graded and the other riding for Slangerup D-graded. Is it some young lad starting riding big bikes this year? Cuold it be possible to make some marks by theirs names like Kristiansen(1) and Kristiansen(2) or (a) and (b,)?
