Ljubljana, big fast track that's usually slick... (right?) Both were at the Finnish training camp in Hallstavik two weeks ago. It was a season starter for Keskinen (three blown engines for starters) where as Mäkinen had already done two visits to Poland. Finnish season starts on thursday before your meeting, so there are not all that much meetings behind them. Keskinen will ride in Stralsund though in the EC semi. Havent seen any of the other pairs, but cant see them doing better than Laukkanen and Mustonen did a year ago.

Slovenia and Croatia met in a test match in Donji Kraljevec yesterday. Croatia put their best team on the track including Jurica Pavlic, while Slovenian team was mostly composed of junior riders and only Sandi Conda as a member of the senior team that qualified for the SWC in Peterborough.

Meeting was run in a Polish league style format and was very interesting from heat 1 to heat 15. Croatia got to a 7 point lead after heat 7, but Slovenians fought back and two 5-1's from Duh and Voldrih in heats 10 and 14 put us back into the lead before the final heat. There we needed 3-3 but Kraljic couldn't pass Cvetko and Croatia won with 45-44.

Was is just testmatch or first round of Slovenian-Croatian team championship?

Well, actually it was first round of Slovenian-Croatian team championship, as it is officially called, but it doesn't really count as championship, at least not in Slovenia. It's just a team competition.
