Guest Schumi
Maybe i am the only one.But i think Crump will find it hard to start all over again in the same form. For me i think the race will be between Nicki,Hans and of course Crump.Ultimately though i don't think Crump will reach the heights of last season and will finish second, maybe even third.I will go for Nicki as i think even Hans will struggle to be quite so good as last year.Or Hans will romp it.They are the only 3 i can see on the rostrum at the end of the season. 1.Hans 2.Crump 3.Nicki <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm inclined to agree with you. Personally I think Jason will find it hard to keep up with Hans, who seems to have hit form at just the right time. If you'd asked "who is your favourite" I'd say Nicki, and much as I would optimistically put him in the top 3 I don't think he's quite up to Hans' current form, though I would dearly love to be proved wrong. So for me it's Hans, Crump, Pedersen (N).
Guest Jim Blanchard
I do not think it will be hard for JC to keep up with Andersen Schumi. JC would need to lift himself again from a motivational point of view but having been champ a couple of times he knows very well how to go about it. Sort of inner belief if you like. Andersen whilst very talented and capable does not actually have the benefit of that as yet. Would you agree?
shazzybird
Jason has fought so hard to be the best over the years, I cannot see him giving up the World Title without one hell of a fight Since meeting him at the VSRA my opinion of him has changed totally 100% I think it was the Ove/Jason banter that sealed it. Guest Schumi
Well another thing I was thinking Jim is that Hans is settled at Peterborough, but Jason is going to have a fair few changes to get used to at Poole. Now obviously, being the professional that he is I'm sure it won't take him long to adapt, but I wonder if that will just give Hans the edge early on, plus I think Hans is more motivated than ever. I know how much you admire Jason, Jim, but for me I'd like to see a change, and Nicki and Hans are so exciting to watch, that I'd love it to be one of them. Think it's more wishful thinking on my part, but that's my view anyway.
Guest Jim Blanchard
Can't disagree with that at all Schumi and I think truth be told Jason most likely knows that more than anyone. We have always 'shouted' for him when he was in the GP's up against TRick. As Shazzy mentions above he just is the sort of bloke that is better for the knowing from a personal point of view and as a rider he just seems to me to go about his task as BFD says in a more focussed way. As I said - its going to be enjoyable who ever comes out on top at the end, and I think they are all exciting to watch.
colin
Jason Crump for 2007, hopefully with a strong challenge from whoever can keep up with him. I also think that Jason Crump (2006 version) is a good ambasador for speedway in general, his attitude and his abilities are the perfect advert for all things good in speedway imo. To be sure, Crump didn't retain his title after the first time he won it, but he finished second behind a runaway Tony Rickardsson and he won a couple of GPs along the way. Neither Nicki P, Hans Andersen, or anyone else in the field for that matter, are of the calibre of TR. For me, this coming season is a one horse race and Jason Crump is that horse. Colin <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are any of the top riders adverts for what is bad in speedway?Think they all deserve praise.Ok,you might not like one or two,but they are great adverts for speedway.I must say personally i was highly impressed with Hans last season. Not just what he done in the GP's and in the leagues. But his attitude when i saw him in the 2 Danish Finals.Anytime there was an accident he was first on the track to see how the rider(s) were. And that in an individual competition

Trees
If this is to be Leigh Adams last year in the GPs I sincerely hope luck is on his side, jeez it sure needs to be more than it ever has!!!!
SCB
I'd be happy to see a 2 way battle between Crumpy and Hans this year and I think we'll see exactly that. I think Crumpy just has the upper hand though. Regarding Chris Harris, he's going to have some terrible GP's but I just hope he can have a few good ones to prove his worth, preferably the GP's I'm at Just can't see Nicki winning another title, he's not been close since his win and has rarely come across as a threat. Guest Jim Blanchard
Actually, Nicki, is also a really nice guy and I admire his qualities as person and my dealings with him have been just amenable as with Jason. I think he has just as much as chance of taking another one if the luck runs right for him. .

I know it's unlikely Nicki will win, but I'm sure he would be a popular world champ.
AndyM
Crump notwithstanding, Mr Andersen has got the future world champ written all over him. Quite sure he'll get there one year, even if it's not 07. But I'm convinced Nicki Pedersen's suspect temperament will get the better of him and prevent him winning further titles.
