cityrebel
crayford was a tricky little track inside an excellent all covered stadium. with a connecting railway station serving the london main line, it was so easy to get to. how i wish it was still running today. Had a spell of going there regularly. Worst thing was the drive round the bloody South Circular! Of course, it was no worse than going over to Hackney... Parsloes 1928 nearly
Whatever happened to John Hooper and Jack Bibby? Â Jack Bibby was a regular at Iwade a couple of years back with his son Mark who did well in the amateur racing there. Would LOVE to see if Mark could get a berth in an AJL side though am not sure if he's still riding..
raceleader
Any idea if there was speedway at Crayford in 1938, possibly with Mick Mitchell the top rider?
