You sure Teterow isn't a Formula One track? How on earth do they ride that? :o

Well they did have rally cars on it last year!.You must have heard of Teterow. It is an absolute one-off(now).Simon Wigg loved the place.Kelvin tatum and Trevor Banks are also regulars. It is grass track, but not as we know it.Full of twists and jumps.....off into the woods and you can hear the bikes then they re-appear.It is something else.Plus the atmosphere!!!!The camping village by the track, with music and all the guys riding off into the woods with their bikes, doing burn-ups and getting pissed all weekend.Plus the speedway meeting on the saturday night in the stadium next door. You'd love it.Me?Bit too old for all that lark!!! :(:P

Scheessel ... what a fantastic 1000m track that is

Iris, do you know if the club still runs, would love to go see some longtrack there again, but i heard they were having problems

19.08.2007 is the next meeting at Scheessel Steve :D And coincidentaly there is a meeting at Norden the day before. Not sure about that Steve.I imagined Scheessel were one of the few tracks that were ok.Mainly because they host the Hurricane music festival.I thought this financed their motorbike activities.Rather like some sort of Tractor meeting finances Brokstedt.Teterow also make most of their money during the Bergring weekend, and that finances the rest of the speedway season,i think.

If you do decide to come over make sure you say.I'll make the effort to get there myself :D

I would be most grateful if anyone has a web site which may have the fixtures, both GrasstrackLongtrack and Speedway for 2007.

Thanks in advance

i think thats totally out of order having a birthday the same day as the longtrack ... my 40th is on the same day as Cardiff 2007 too so these speedway fixture compilers have a lot to answer for.

flew to Hamburg and hired a car last time i went ... as i was driving down the motorway i kept seeing a sign for a town ... went on for bloody miles, must be a really big town.

place was called Ausgang

Well the time i went to Teterow for the Bergring meeting,i got lost.Forgot to take a map with me.had to ring home to ask my girlfriend to look and give me directions.By the time i got to the meeting i had missed Kelvin's heats in the qualifying rounds :( Luckily enough he was a late replacement in the speedway meeting that night,so i did get to see him.But wasn't the same as on the Bergring. Then to top it off while watching the speedway meeting,i found out i had lost the keys to my bike!!!!!Went all the way back to the car park and luckily enough i had left them in the bike and someone had handed them in to the security :D
