ollie
our mate dave booth lost his battle with cancer in the early hours this morning the 15/11/06.boothy is a solo legend here in australia as he competed in many aussie rounds ,countless state titles, ivan mauger series etc with many great results and if given the opertunity could have made it in the uk with out any doubt.dispite the comments of peter oaks (speedway star oct /28/06 boothys day page 38 ) that dave booth was never a big star is untrue he is a star and always will be remembered as a star in our hearts.dave a true aussie battler never gave up while racing could always be counted on by promotors and was always there for his mates and always there for young solo riders you will always be in our hearts speedway has lost a great competitor. john oliver racing
