You guys haven't seen Charlie Venegas in awhile.This guy has more main event wins at all the track in the USA (California ). He can gate and rides the small tracks really well. Not sure who's equipment he is riding but watch for him to be there in the end.

Can anyone whose going and aint set off yet or someone who aint going and knows the format let me know because i need to know what the updates site could you tell me for example What the 1.30pm meeting is and what the evening one is.

If it's like last year, the 1.30pm meeting is the Bonanza Pairs - 8 pairs, meeting over 20 heats (usual heat scoring 3-2-1-0), but they don't all meet each other :-( Then a final between the top 2 scoring pairs over 6 laps, and scoring 4-3-2-0.

 

At 6pm its the individual, Brighton Bonanza X - the standard 16 rider - 20 heat formula, plus a final for the top 4 scorers.

under 15's is being run between the pairs heats. We've had 3 heats of under 15's so far. Last heat was awarded after the 1st bend of the 1st lap. Kennett down in heat 9. Looks ok but holding collar bone!

Dugard in for Auty and also Bobby Schwartz couldnt make as his mum is ill.

8 pairs, meeting over 20 heats (usual heat scoring 3-2-1-0), but they don't all meet each other Then a final between the top 2 scoring pairs over 6 laps, and scoring 4-3-2-0.

 

Heat 1: From Gate

Heat 2: Kerr fell bend 1 lap 1 Robson ran into him. All4back. Robson fell bend 1 lap 1 but last at time.

Heat 3: McConnell passed Venegas bend1/2 lap 2

Heat 4: Dugard fell bend 1 King fell bend 3 all back, Dugard passed King bend 1 lap 2.

Heat 5: Kennett from 4th to 2nd to 1st only for Bridger to go from 1st to 4th on last bend as Kennett came through

Heat 6: From Gate

Heat 7: Mcconnell fell bend 1 allback. Hiels fell bend 3 only 3 finishers.

Heat 8: Fisher and Olly big bum bend 1 all4bck but Fisher opted not to!. Venegas flyer all3back. King lost it lap 2 bend 1 on inside trying to pass Venegas.

Heat 9: Race awarded Kennett fell bend 3 lap 4. Mcconnell ex as cause.

Heat 10: No Fisher. Venegas pass T Allen bend 4 lap 1.

Heat 11: From gate

Heat 12: Kerr locked up bend 1 lap 2 in 2nd place.

Interval Now.

Fisher withdrawn from afternoon meeting not sure about this evenings.

Heat 13: Kennett flew out gate.

Heat 14: Hiles fell bend 1 lap 1 hard bike carried off!. All4back.

Heat 15: Tomicek fell in 2 bend 1 Vlasov. All4back. Vlasov fex bend 1. Darkin pushed wide bend 1.

Heat 16: Kerr fell bend 1 nudged by King. King lost 2nd place lap 2 kerr pass homestraight giffard

 

Grand Final: Tomicek, Kennett, Dugard, Bridger over 6 laps. Tomicek tapes off 10metres. Bridger fell bend 1 ex.

Surprised scoring for Lewis Bridger today, excellent scoring for Edward, still think if they hadn't put a ringer in there (Dugard ) that would of been Edward and Lewis as winners.

Lewis said in the local press this week that he treated the meeting very seriously last year, but this year is was just going to be fun!

 

Didn't look much like fun when he was visibly annoyed at being excluded in the Final, though!

 

Complaint - the programme was FOUR QUID! This meeting's not a round of the Grand Prix, is it ???

Line Up confirmed.

The standard 16 rider - 20 heat formula, plus a final with top 2 going straight to final next 4 to last chance race.

 

Heat 1: Race stopped last lap as Tomicek appeared to tap King cauing him to fall.

Heat 2: To be re-run. Poor Kerr had all bad luck in that race.

Heat 3: Re-run T Allen had a little spill but is going in rereun from 10m back.

Heat 5: D King fell all4back.

Heat 8: Stopped to be re-run with Vlasov to go off 10m. Stopped again not sure what happenend but Kerr and Vlasov bike are stuck together riders ok. O Allen deemed to be at fault but saved by crowd and will go off 10metres.

Delay while they sort bikes out. Allen is now ex. Kerr ballsed it up and the other 2 went passed.

Heat 9: Stopped Vlasov down and McConnell laid the bike down all4back.

Heat 12: To be re-run for 5th time after numerous incidents Last one Robson went into fence looks nasty. Interval to be taken.

Robson withdrawn. They say he s ok but bike isnt.

Heat 14: Stopped Kerr and McConnell had coming together. Re-run with all 3. No Robson.

Heat 15: 3 Riders only the russians are sharing a bike and they are both due out in this heat. Only Darkin taking part.

Heat 16: Stopped but to be re-run with all4back. Dugard was doinga dying fly act on the track.

Heat 17: Kerr ex race to be re-run with 3 only.

Heat 18: Only 2 finishers with Both Tomicek and Venegas pulling off track.

Heat 20: Stopped a coming together between McConnell and J King all4back but McConnell goes off 10m. J king withdraws from re-run.

Going to be a race off between D King and Venegas to decide who goes into last chance heat. Venegas in to Last chance heat.

Semi Final: Venegas, Darkin, McConnell, O Allen Top go to Final. stopped all4back. stopped again re-run again. stopped again lots of moving at start.
