Hazzman
Kennett signs for Czestochowa and will take one of the two team spots reserved for u-21, can he be as good as Hefenbrock this year? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Whats this a British rider in a E-Liga side possibly taking a Junior spot. I wonder whether they will be a scrap for Bridger's signature in a couple of years?!? Danil Ivanov joins deposed champions Tarnow. What a lot of Russian riders are starting to emerge. How long before one of them is knocking on the door for a GP place? Gafurov and Sajfutdinov certainly appear to have the talent. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Seems like a very exciting rider, his style is similar to The Gaffer's who rides the track as if it's a rectangle shape. Robin Tornqvist, a 19-year old Swede signs for Torun. Tobias Busch, the German 18 y-o signs for Liga 2 Lodz. He was once described as a 'wonderkid' and recently won, the Master of Speedway, the indoor winter contest in Germany.
iris123
Danil is also a very talented Ice speedway rider.Just ask Conkers. Tobi.....well.......has talent......but has been through a difficult year. Was in a round about manner criticised on his club site.Said that he needs to do better next season."Why he didn't do well he needs to work out himself",was what was also said. One thing that obviously upset his progress was the death of his father in a motorbike accident. His father was also a speedway rider and main member of Stralsund. He died about 18 months ago in a MotoX meeting,i think. Edit: Hazzman, are you confusing Tobi with Erik Pudel with the "wonderkid" tag i wonder Edited December 23, 2006 by iris123
slav
very good to see the Young Russians emerging, they are talented. ambitious and this sport needs new supporters. Fans in Tarnow are actually happy with the signing even thoug they have own juniors. Good luck.

I noticed that the juniors spots being taken by foreigners has caused a storm on the Polish boards. I think the idea of having misperforming foreigns in reserve spots who take at least 2 months to get used to the atmosphere of Polish Speedway instead of young, local riders who have been born upon these tracks is getting on their nerves. tommy
Yesterday we had a presentation of Zielona Gora's team at which saw a turnout of approx. 7 thousand fans! There were no big surprises but three new riders were presented officialy: Billy Hamill, Ricky Kling, Seb Alden and Linus Eklof. So the team will consist of the following: Seniors: P.Protasiewicz G.Walasek N.K.Iversen F.Lindgren B.Hamill Z.Suchecki S.Alden Juniros: G.Zengota K.Wolbert R.Kling A.Kulczynski P.Zarzycki L.Eklof P.Gwozdz J.Baniak IMO ZG has a chance of being in the 5-6 place, that'll make me happy as the team's goal is stability and building of a strong team for years to come. I defenitely like the mix of veterans like Pepe and Billy mixed with ambitious youth of guys like Freddie and NKI. ps. short clip of the presentation can by seen by pasting the following link to ur windows player: mms://87.105.17.132/video/07_01_Falubaz.wmv Edited January 11, 2007 by tommy
