HenryW
The more one hears about Holta, the more one is thankful that he's never sought to ply his trade in the UK. Why? Because he looks after his own financial security? BTW : When are you going to change your signature from that misrepresented quote? Subedei
The best option would be Tomek Gollob back to Bydgoszcz and Tomek Chrzanowski back to Torun. Torun 100% torunian and Bydgoszcz with their hero. Unfortunately unreal I'm afraid. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But Tomasz Chrzanowski signs for Liga I Gdansk, where he rode in 2005, for the 2007 season. Mateusz
But Tomasz Chrzanowski signs for Liga I Gdansk, where he rode in 2005, for the 2007 season. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes. When I wrote above I didn't know which club he'd choose.
Subedei
Anyway, leaving aside the Ekstraliga and Liga I, is there nothing happening with Rico's beloved Wanda Krakow?
Mateusz
Nothing. They won't be riding next year.
eM_Pe
This year's winter period is probably one of the craziest I remember It's been just one mont of the three months long "signing window" and we've alrady had a few "big bangs" (and "smaller" too ) : Protasiewicz, Hampel, Sullivan, Lindbaeck, Holta (not sure, where he goes - probably Tarnow, but he leaves Rzeszow for sure), Bjarne Pedersen, Chrzanowski, Kosciecha, Nicholls, Iversen. Thing are getteing funny, e.g. Rzeszow confirmed, that they have signed someone new, but they won't tell who it is Let's just hope they don't forget to announce their decision before the end of the signing period. It is said, that their new rider could be Davey Watt, but the only background of this opinion is "why not?" We're still waiting for Tomasz Gollob's decision. Except of him, there are only a few riders still available, that could guarantee at least decent performacne in the Extraleague: Dobrucki, Loram, Miedzinski... And it seems, that needs are much, much bigger: Rzeszow, Bydgoszcz and Tarnow have more gaps, than riders for now. There won't be enoug for all of them. Subedei
Robert Miskowiak definitely staying in Leszno and on a two year deal - Leszno will be hoping Miskowiak recaptures the form that saw him take the world under-21 crown not so very long ago. Is Rafal Dobrucki the mystery signing by Rzeszow? Is Rune Holta destined for Torun rather than Tarnow? The good news for Tarnow is that Janusz Kolodziej looks like staying. tommy
Dobrucki in Rzeszow. Looks like Jagus and Miedzinski will re-sign with Torun on Wednesday.
eM_Pe
Is Rafal Dobrucki the mystery signing by Rzeszow? Dobrucki has made his decision - he's moving to Rzeszow. Anyway, he's not the secret signing. Rzeszow's manager Marta Poltorak said, that her Wunderwaffe is a foreign rider with some good results in BEL and Eliteserien, who wants to try his luck in Ekstraliga. Mateusz
Bydgoszcz have just signed Staszewski and Okoniewski from Zielona Gora Mr Tillinger, Polonia vice-chairman, who was responsible for all talks with potential new riders screwed everything and Bydgoszcz are gonna have the weakest team this year (well, at least on paper..). There's no class rider left now to be signed. I mean a rider who can be one of so called leaders. It was claimed there were so many riders who 'were to' go to Bydgoszcz - among the others B.Pedersen, R.Sullivan finally Holta.. Especially the last one was almost fixed. But even this didn't work The other side of the case is that all them wanted huge money and I really wonder if some the clubs won't fall into financial trouble even already in the middle of 2007 Both T.Gollob and Holta are worth more than half of a budget a normal Ekstraliga club.. But that's Tarnow problem now. Things were going alright untill PePe decided to leave. The gap after him increased every rider's demands more than much... Anyway it doesn't make any excuse for the management of the club that has just overslept the current transfer season. Bydgoszcz are gonna be probably the most stable club financially but I am afraid that with this stability we can eventually finish in Division 1 So far the line-up is: AJ, Staszewski, Okoniewski, Buczkowski, Sajfutdinov, Jedrzejewski.. + Loram/Klecha/Sawina/??? ..Nigdy nie spadnie, Polonia nigdy nie spadnie! Hazzman
On the Bydgoszcz team, I reckon it could work in the long-term for their team as riders like Klecha and the juniors are going to get a lot more opportunities this season and it will be experience for them to learn. Might not win anything this year but the riders will develop. Hopefully Loram will sign aswell
