Subedei
what is it? 'worst GP rider' day or what?! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm sure young Dowhan knows what he's doing. and if so where's Lee Richardson??? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sadly, for you young kitten, he's at Czestochowa. tommy
ZG is still aiming to sign one more rider`(Sulli, Kasprzak,??) but it'll be hard as there's barely any top class riders left on the market.
tomazpozrl
Jurica Pavlic signed for Leszno (according to: http://www.speedway.si/index.php?option=co...=619&Itemid=82) Edited November 13, 2006 by tomazpozrl
Hazzman
I cant read Polish but seems Torun may have been bailed out, so they can ride E-Liga 07?!? Can anyone clarify?
Subedei
Roman Karkosik, apparently somewhere between the 2nd and 5th richest man in Poland and the 49th richest in the world, has taken a 51% interest in Torun. Torun will, it seems, be riding in the Ekstraliga, with Tomasz Gollob top of Karkosik's wish list. If Gollob joins Torun, the Holy War derby match could be interesting.
Mateusz
The 49th richest man in Central-Eastern Europe, 2nd in Poland. His an owner of many companies and built his fortune playing on a stock market. Gollob going to Torun would be the end of the world.

Leliwa
Peter Ljung is going to sign with Unia Tarnow for minimum 10 matches the management announced today. Janusz Kolodzej is very close to finalising talks with Unia, which makes me a very happy camper!
Hazzman
Bjarne Pedersen has joined Liga I Gdansk. Must be a nice pay packet. On Licenses for E-Liga, I may be wrong but it seems 5 teams have been ok-ed, Bydgoszcz and Leszno told to modernise their stadiums? and Wroclaw are having some difficulties. To get a licence every team of Ekstraliga must be so called 'sports joint-stock company' (don't know if it's how u call it in English). Eveything's fine with Bydgoszcz and Leszno (what made u think it's about the stadiums??). Founding joint-stock companies in these cities is just in progress but legally everything's ok. Bydgoszcz and Leszno were given so called temporary licences as courts in these cities haven't finished founding the joint-stock companies yet but it doesn't matter at all - once things are done both will be given normal licences. The only strange situation is taking place in Wroclaw. I'm not up to date with it really but as I know Wroclaw thought they could run as a limited company, not a joint-stock one Edited November 16, 2006 by Mateusz

I undestand what you mean in 'sports joint-stock company', I have seen it in Polish football teams like Wisla Krakow SSA (SSA = Sport Joint-Stock Company) and I think we have such a thing in Britain but its less specialised to sports. Subedei
Bjarne Pedersen has joined Liga I Gdansk. Must be a nice pay packet. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> BP was with Gdansk during their Ekstraliga season in 2005. I was under the impression that GP riders were limited to Ekstraliga teams, but obviously with BP at Gdansk and Chris Harris at Rybnik, this is not the case. I had heard that Ryan Sullivan had signed with Adriana Torun.

Hazzman
Loram going to the Lions? Another target for Bydgoszcz to miss out on? Looks more likely Gollob is going to Polonia. I have just read Pawel Hlib is going back liga 1 Gorzow. Looks like they are going for a real tilt on promotion. Mateusz
I'm going to die... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You've stolen PePe from Bydgoszcz so what can I say? So far we've got AJ and 3 juniors only.. Loram going to the Lions? We'll see.. Another target for Bydgoszcz to miss out on? Looks more likely Gollob is going to Polonia. Not this year mate. He's staying in Tarnow, at least for 2007.
