Kev78
As expected then really; still think PK is unlucky to not get in though. Must just be his age that counted against him.
Jools
As expected then really; still think PK is unlucky to not get in though. Must just be his age that counted against him. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, especially as he finished 4th in the qualifiers & JP stated how Harris was 5th. It's all demographics! BTW, can they really justify having 2 Swedish GPs with just 2 riders in the series now?
Ironside
this seasons wasters are Holta and Jagus, can they be the Pepe P and NKI of the 2006 series?
Jools
this seasons wasters are Holta and Jagus, can they be the Pepe P and NKI of the 2006 series? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Jagus isn't a waster. However, for Jagus & Chris Harris to live with the competiton, they both need big money sponsors.

The real wasters are Nicholls and Harris, neither of whom qualified. And Harris is less of a waster than Nicholls, who shames the sport with his constantly having to beg for a place at the GPs. In fact, if you go to the Updates site you'll see I proposed him, together with Lindgren, Pedersen and Kolodziej. Pedersen on the grounds that he qualified for 2006 and deserves a second chance. Lindgren and Kolodziej on the grounds that they are young up-and-coming riders deserving of a chance. Nicholls has had his chances and wasted each and every single one. willp
no sub, read your last but 1 post, you called both scotty and bomber ''real wasters''.

But either way I am happy with Harris with international form has come on leaps and bounds. Kolodziej's time will come, time is on his side after all unlike the British riders. SCB
Jagus and Holta at least qualified. The real wasters are Nicholls and Harris, neither of whom qualified. Thats harsh! Going by your, they should qualify theory (which I do agree with BTW) thenn the top 8 qualify and then the next 7 should be the riders from the qualifying round. Wasn't Bomber 5th? Meaning if it was done the way you wanted, bomber would be in the GP's fairly?

I propose a toast to King Scott and Queen Sophie <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The only way he will be king is if 10 riders abdicate first Its like saying Zara Phillips wil be queen !! Guest Babe619
To be honest, I think that riders who weren't in the top 8 in the GP last year shouldn't be put back in. They obviously weren't good enough to qualify! Give the places to some new riders. I don't see the point of the rule being the top 8 qualify for next year but then giving riders outside the top 8 the extra places! robpeasley
Well, it should be Peter Karlsson instead of Chris Harris, but otherwise I agree with that list of riders. All the best Rob
robpeasley
Subedei wrote on the other now locked thread (therefore let's move the discussion onto this one): "Anyway, any chance of those among you who posted that you want to see "the best 15 riders" in the GP coming on and criticising Harris' inclusion. I doubt any of you are deluded enough to say that Harris is superior to Kolodziej." Sub, I'll stay consistent. Harris was not in my list of the world's top 15. I don't think Harris should be in the 2007 GP series - it's a year or two too early for him. He's amongst the best 30 in the world, but not amongst the best 15. The only Brit in next year's series should be Scott Nicholls. Incidentally, why do you keep mentioning Kolodziej? It doesn't do your argument any good. He's been very inconsistent when I've seen him. Like Harris, I would place him in the best 30 in the world, but certainly not amongst the best 15. Peter Karlsson is a better rider than either of them - but isn't in the 2007 GP series. There's the injustice, that Harris has been picked ahead of PK (the only rider in my top 15 who won't be in the 2007 series). If you started banging on about that, as opposed to your one-man crusade against Scott Nicholls, I'm sure more people would listen.
