sward
Is a very interesting and frank interview. Might be better off moving this topic to to the speedway general disscussion section so more people see it.
Guest Sir Lunchalot
Rod might have been a good rider but he is shocking at geography !! Broadford three hours south of Melbourne ???? That would put us in the middle of Bass Strait. Rod should pay us a visit (but bring his wetsuit in case no one tells him where we really are). (Pssst Rod, we are 45 minutes north of Melbourne)

The future of Australian speedway is in the hands of Holder, Doyle and Harding! Nothing against these guys but what happened to Shields and Schlein! Subedei
Schlein! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Didn't he have something of a "run-in" with Schlein last winter?
Sandie
Didn't he have something of a "run-in" with Schlein last winter? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, I listened and waited! He only said that Rory was definately seeded directly to the final and wont be in the qualifiers.
SCB
Shields is NOT the future. He's already about 29-30 and if he was going to do "it" he'd have done "it" by now. Decent rider but never likely to be GP rider. Schlein on the other hand, I said the first time I saw him was going places, I stand by than now some 5 and a half years later. GP rider of the future. I also rate Doyle and Holder but not so sure about Harding Holder is by far the better rider tho.
Guest Sir Lunchalot
I cut Rod a bit of slack over that one. It must be tough in the middle of an interview when asked a question to rattle off a few names off the top of your head and get the list exactly right. I'm sure if he a few minutes to think about it he probably would have added Batchelor in place of Harding.

Chris
Schlein has to toughen up physically. Looked like a little kid in with the big boys when he was embarrassed in the world cup.
Ozyace
Surely young Tai Wuffy is the future of Australian speedway
