Beowulf
You didn't need to put my comment in perspective, my comment was putting something in perspective. The simple fact is that he has only beat one or two half decent riders. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't disagree with that, but then that's why I mentioned the WU21 where he has beaten better riders. Who would have thought Swindon would be favourites? I might get injured

Sir Jasper
I dont thikn you can compare Hefenbrock and Smolinski for a start Smoli is year ahead in his british league career and has missed a lot of time through injuries. Heffenbrock's cause has not been helped by the fact Wolves tail is very long and he finds himself in the main body of the team. Both look good prospects but on Tuesdays showing I would say Smolinski is slightly ahead at the minute.
German Speedway Fan
In Germany we're realy happy with our three german Riders in Elite League... In Herxheim Tommy Stange was realy good two. Don't forget, he broke his hand six weeks ago... !!! From our Younger prospects, with Max Dilger only 17 years old and Richard Speißer (18) there are some new riders coming. Also Kevin Wölbert. Stephan Katt missed the meeting cause he had to win the European Grasstrack title, Kevin Wölbert rode in Poland, rene Schäfer injured. Robbie Kessler had to ride in German League, because nominated have been first 8 from last years Championship and top 8 Riders from 1. and 2. Bundesliga. Robbie didn't ride in Germany, so he hasn't been riding this Meeting. In the Finale Hefe won the start ahead of Tobi Kroner. Smoli took Tobi after 2nd croner and was hunting for Hefenbrock. His engine failure stopped his title dreams. Think without Martins engine failure we would have seen two interessting last laps...

lupus
Our friends in Germany might be interested to see this video interview with Hefe at Wolverhampton last ngiht......... http://www.expressandstar.co.uk/video/spor...926_hefenbrock/
Bavarian
some comment here indicate that the German speedway scene is weak compared with the mighty British, but ... think about it, ... Germany's Under 21 team was in the World Team Final this year along with Poland, Sweden and Denmark and finished only a couple of points behind the silver medal winners. Where were the British ??? Leo
I'm glad that Heffer has found his form in individual meetings towards the end of the season, but as long as Smoli keeps banging in the scores for his team over here, where my interest lies, I'll be more than happy.
