Hazzman
I am sure Bydgoszcz sign a contract securing GP racing till 2009.

Paddy The Rebel
Who does everone think will get the 4 wild card places for next year?? GP Standings 1 Jason Crump (AUS) 2 Greg Hancock (USA) 3 Nicki Pedersen (DEN) 4 Andreas Jonsson (SWE) 5 Leigh Adams (AUS) 6 Matej Zagar (SLO) 7 Tomasz Gollob (POL) 8 Jarek Hampel (POL) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 9 Wieslaw Jagus (POL) 10 Hans Andersen (DEN) 11 Rune Holta (NOR/POL) 12 ? 13 ? 14 ? 15 ? If Tomas Rides next year i would presume that no more Poles would be put into the GP Series. But if he doesnt i think Janusz Kolodziej or Karol Zabik will be put in. My personal opinion of who will gets the 4 Permanent Wildcards is 1 Antonio Lindback (SWE) 2 Scott Nicholls (GB) 3 Bjarne Pedersen (DEN) 4 Fredrik Lindgren (SWE) Adding those 4 plus the addition of Freddie Lindgren IMO you would have probably the Best 15 riders in the world. jimmy smith
Lindgren is so overated, i would prefer Peter Karlsson.
Ron Butler
Confirmed GP Tracks for 2007 + rumours Eskilstuna, Sweden Målilla, Sweden Cardiff, England Heard something about Gelzen Kirchen on the telly, Indoor arena and a prizepot of $100.000 for that meeting in Gelzen Kirchen. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks for the information, Tarabanko. Just one error though - Cardiff is in Wales UK, not England UK. Being the British Grand Prix it could, in theory, be held in Egland, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. Sadly, only Wales has an arena that is large enough to host such a massive event.

Kevin Meynell
Being the British Grand Prix it could, in theory, be held in Egland, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. In fact it couldn't be held in Northern Ireland because that's outside the ACU's territory which is just Great Britain, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey. Northern Ireland comes under the all-Ireland MCUI.
f-s-p
Heard something about Gelzen Kirchen on the telly, Indoor arena and a prizepot of $100.000 for that meeting in Gelzen Kirchen. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I read that from masarna.nu as well. Made no sense to me, the article it self started by declaring that number of rounds next year will be increased to 10. Stupid idea if you ask me to give better money in one round and less in others. For the rounds next year? Probably the same stadias will remain for next year..?

No one should be invited. They should all qualify on merit.
f-s-p
Where is this coming from buy the way that Gollob is retiring? I've been reading such post's for some time now.

Kevin Meynell
Please excuse my error, Kevin, I was speaking geographically. A Northern Ireland GP is academic of course, but I think there have been Northern Irish ice racers representing Ireland in the past.
Concrete Cowboy
My preferences for the 4 available places would be Nicholls Harris Lindback plus one other from Lindgren/B Pedersen/P.Karlsson Purely for the reason that as it is a 'world championship', i would like to see a cross section of riders from 'the world'. Gollob/Hampel/Jagus (POL) Crump/Adams (AUS) Pedersen/Andersen (DEN) Rune Holta (NOR/POL) Lindback/Jonsson (SWE) Harris/Nicholls (GB) Hancock (USA) Zagar (SLO)
Subedei
Where is this coming from buy the way that Gollob is retiring? I've been reading such post's for some time now. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I gather that Gollob intimated that he'd be considering his future if he didn't automatically qualify for 2007. I don't think complete retirement was a consideration, just dropping gracefully out of the GPs if he failed to secure a place. And it's good to see such apparent integrity from the great man. I wonder if one or two closer to home will show the same?
